Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

I suppose it would have to be Henry, he was extra special. I was surprised when I thought about this that, apart from the obvious 3-4, there weren't so many particularly leaping out at me. Outside the PL Zidane, Ronaldinho, Messi jump into my mind without even having to start thinking. I don't think I've enjoyed watching the PL much apart from Henry's Arsenal. Will now though.

I think they are both decent and honest men outside football who are in fact living good and relatively humble life.

Neither of them can manage a football for toffee though.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Overmars? Really? For me he was always just speed merchant with nothing else to his game but pace.

Bergkamp was superstylish for sure but the fact that he is know to be one of the main faces in 'racial wars' in Dutch camp makes me loathe the racist bastard.

Libel?

That whole Arsenal front 5 - fucking top.

Understand the Zola love, but less than 60 goals in 230 odd games for Chelski is a bit tin.
Di Canio's goal, but not the man.

I like Gazza but believe he was "out of the country" followed by "out of his head"for the duration of the prem years

Edit: oops. He did have his Toffee Glory years didnt he? How could I forget them

They were that fucking good they didn't even need a keeper! I love how they raved on that everyone of them was brilliant. Beckham, Neville, Butt, Scholes, Savage and Gillespie made it and the rest were shite.

As soon as i seen the thread i thought Henry, absolute class and would still have him for the last year or 2 of his career.

Remember when they destroyed us 1-5 (i think) and was 4 down at half time, so i stayed in concourse after half time and supped 3 or 4 pints to drown my sorrows, he was so devastatingly quick and clinical and because we were not in with a chance of competing i always wanted Arsenal to win league.

4 in 22 minutes. We clapped them off at half time.
Superb

Oddly enough that was one of the best atmospheres at Maine Road, we never stopped singing in the North Stand and the Arsenal fans were gobsmacked. We did get a right twatting on the pitch though.
