Surely he is gone? If Dzeko can be said to replace RSC then that still leaves a spot for Ade in theory. RSC was not registered for Europa, cant remember if he was named in the 25 squad. If he wasn't then Dzeko has to push Ade out of it.. in which case he is 100% gone.

RSC was in the prem squad (was because there are no limits during January). Logan and Etuhu would also be options for Dzeko or AN Other signing so RSC or Adebayor don't have to go.

I didn't see how the quota was re home grown players but I was under the impression we had more than we needed? Bridge is possibly about to go to Villa so that frees up a squad place irrespective of RSC.

Just had a quick look. RSC, MJ and Logan all in the 25.. so that leaves a few spaces then.

Ade to stay and tough it out?

Only if we can't do a deal. It's clear that Mancini doesn't want him and isn't interested in using him. He doesn't have a future here.

When we signed SuperMario, I was looking forward to seeing him paired up front with Ade. Thought that could, potentially, have been an explosive combination......sadly, not to be, it would seem.

Spanish media still talking about a competition between Real and Malaga but "the departure of the forward will not happen until City complete the signing of the Bosnian, Edin Dzeko"!

I hope he'll end up staying, and we'll get rid of RSC.

Cant see either staying tbh. Something happened with Adebayor that seems to have made Bobby wash his hands of him altogether.

Now Dzeko is confirmed, we should find out soon if there is a deal in the pipeline for Ade.

Hi Ted,

Is the pipeline comment a subtle reference to any Arab oil money involved ??
