PeterParker wrote:What a disgrace. The only card for the Arsenal cunts was the red on, that is it. I remember a dirty slide made by Koscielny at Tevez in the second half and the ref talked to him without even trying to give something, but for us... Barry - yellow card for a fault that was usual in a game (his first), Nige -yellow after a late foult, but without any intetion at Nasri or Fabregas if i recall and again the ref booked him even though it was his first foult of the game and most important, the Barry and Nige card were at the middle of the field, not in our 16 yard. I can bet that the rvp cunt cheeky elbow will be "forgotten" by the fa and so on. I'm starting to think if for the Scum game. Atkinson is available.

This should also be considered when people slate how negative we played, the ref made clear from the beginning that we were not supposed to battle their midfield by waving yellow at both our holding midfielders for no reason. That made it very difficult for us to really challenge and win the ball back as Nige for me had an off game, pulling out of tackles and being generally cautious after that early booking.

You could see him asking the ref why after he got the red. The smug twat just made a headbutt motion and told him to walk off.
I really don't know how some footballers don't lay the smug refs out. Duncan Ferguson must have had a hard time!

I think Spagbol may have moved his head to the side so that Zabba's came forward, though all he was doing was standing up to someone going mental in his face after fouling him.

Not a cat in hell's chance we'll get off!

Mad Frank v The FA

Postby Beefymcfc » Thu Jan 06, 2011 6:43 pm

From OS:

Blues Appeal Zabaleta Dismissal

Manchester City can confirm that an appeal has been lodged with the FA following Pablo Zabaleta’s sending off against Arsenal.

Should the appeal be successful, the Argentine defender would be available to face Leicester City in the FA Cup on Sunday.

The outcome will not be known until Friday.

I wonder what the outcome will be?

Probably another match ban for having the temerity to seek justice.

Hope the RvP elbow doesn't go unpunished.

Strange one isn't it, we all know that it should be rescinded but also know that we've not got a cat in hell's chance.

I didn't see the van Pervert incident, was it blatant?

When did it happen, didn't see it on Sky or MotD?

there was a collision on a header where rvp and kompany got tangled up, rvp clearly elbowed him in the ribs and had something to say. kompany just got up and got on with it. american commentators here (mcmanamanamanaman) said he was impressed with kompany's professionalism.

clearly the ref didn't see it, and it should absolutely be a 3 match ban, as should sagna's, based on kaboul being sent off for exactly the same thing just a week ago.

Cheers mate, didn't show it here. I've not seen anything mentioned about the shit-house so I'm sure it'll get swept under the carpet.

Has the elbow been complained about or mentioned since by anyone other than fans? I agree it was appaulling but the FA dont like to help City about when we do complain never mind when we dont. I havent heard anything about it.

Not forgetting Whinger's take on matters. I'm amazed he admitted to seeing but wtf was Sagna reacting to?
Arsene Wenger Admits There Is 'No Way' To Appeal Bacary Sagna Red Card
Full-back lost control, says Frenchman

The French international clashed with Pablo Zabaleta in the last minute of the goalless draw at the Emirates and both players were sent off.

Wenger has since reviewed video evidence after the game and revealed on the club's official website that he will not be taking the matter further.

Wenger told Arsenal TV Online: “I have seen it again and there is no way we can appeal.

“For me it is a red card and we have to accept it. Bacary lost his temper and had too strong a reaction.

"He acknowledges that he should have kept control. We will not appeal.”

Sagna will be suspended for the next three matches. In contrast, the FA revealed today that Manchester City have appealed against the red card for Zabaleta.

After commentating on it he did say 'it was hard to see it from the bench' but fair play to him he admitted at least that their guy was in the wrong.

Can only add to our already strong case, but come on....

I'm really proud of Zabs for just standing there while that ugly twat spat and butted him. Any Arsehole player would have gone down rolling around the floor on the slightest touch.

I totally agree about the 'first foul' treatment we seem to be getting these days. I think our captain(s) need to start having a subtle word with refs during the game as other clubs do. Not chasing them around like Munich but at least letting the ref know what is going on.
lets wish for good days but not forget the bad days

Is it me or does anyone find it strange that, although they are reporting on our appeal every hour on SSN, they are showing absolutely NO footage of the incident?

Its just that from my recollection, be it Ade or Balotelli, the footage was shown AGAIN and AGAIN in slow motion... so that by the time they were finished with us, the jury was out.

Strange...

Mate, here you're not allowed to believe in there being a conspiracy against us. People will laugh at you and tell you how stupid you're being. Even if one of our players gets nutted and the ref still sends him off for taking it.
