If Ade started getting abuse.Especially at matches, i can imagine he would take it further if the allegations are not true.

i know what you mean - (you might have missed my extra post above) but i honestly don't think the abuse would be that great or particularly nasty - more a case of unfunny chants about taking it up the arse or some nonsense.

it's an offence to make homophobic comments same as racist comments - few arrests and it'd soon sort it self out.

anyway - if it's a scene type guy he'd achieve instant legend status and never have to buy a cocktail in any establishment that plays terrible euro-pop ever again :)

Why? Neither the thread itself, the original post or the author are remotely homophobic. You go over the top sometimes with your moral authority.

On the Ade note, has Mancio just said that we might get an answer on his movement tomorrow?

Has he got a PI following him around to see if the allegations are true?

"Ade SHOCKER"

Kind of set the tone. Whether true or not can see no reason why we need to be discussing it. Is he left handed as well?

The truth is that you look for things to take offence at. You've probably accumulated about half your posts by rebuking people for upsetting your sensibilities.

If anyone was genuinely offended, which personally I doubt, they could always send a private message to the board administrators. Or if KK, Wonderwall etc. deemed it to be inappropriate they could remove it in a second. The site doesn't need your holier-than-thou filter.

I think some just like to be contrary

As you said noone has been negative toward homosexuality barring the odd Tongue in cheek attempt at humour..aside from that I find it a very interesting subject..given the amount of players in all four divisions of the football league, statistically there must be a fair few that are gay

If the text is actually true (all though I doubt it), Ade is not only gay and/or left handed, but also abusive and prone to domestic violence. That's a bit of a shocker, though.

Yes indeed. I confess to having no time whatsoever for homophobia, latent or otherwise. And I quite like the Pet Shop Boys.

I for one would be very shocked if a player came out. Thats not homophobia, it's statisticaly obvious there will be gay players, but I would be taken aback at the bravery, perhaps silliness, of a player becoming openly gay. Its sad but I still think they would get remorseless stick from oppostition support. Max Clifford is on record as saying that he had advised more than 1 player to keep their sexuality a secret until at least the end of their career.

Small Town Boy is an ace tune. If you don't agree, you're a heartless bastard!
I was really in to Depeche and other synth pop when I was younger. Still enjoy digging the old albums out now and then.
