He has been brilliant. I cant believe this is a guy who could not get a game for a bad Rangers team. I never saw anything in him when he was in Scotland a fully expected to see him drift down the lower English leagues before ending up at a rubbish SPL team.

Credit to him.

Calm down, calm down. They were only playing the scallies

Ps. Congratulations Blackpool, absolutely brilliant tonight. Great footy!
Love the 6 points .

When they got promoted I thought and probably posted that Holloway would be brilliant for his interviews, I thought they would go back down but he has proved he has ability as well as personality. I would trade all the Wengers of the league for Holloway's in an instant. You can bet they'd be a new touchline ban every week but what fun it would be.

And congrats to the Tangerines for a win over the worst excuse for a "big 4" team since Leeds tried to crash the party.

Seriously thinking about a punt..they look in the type of freefall that Leeds had to endure

i said to my mate before hodgeson was sacked that if dalglish took over i reckon they would go down. in my opinion he has been out the day to day running of a team for to long and times have changed since last time he was in charge.
i think i will have a look at this myself today when i get 1o minutes.

I'm sure Dalglish will be more than capable of managing Scousepool. The problem for him, and Roy, is the lack of playing talent. He'll have to wheel and deal methinks.

johnnyondioline wrote:I watched this game tonight and having enjoyed Blackpool from afar and also considering out 2 games against them...... they are fantastic to watch, but I cant quite work out how they get away with it.

They seem to give you the chance to hammer them, but at the same time they always seem to get the bounce of the ball, be in the right place for a ricochet etc........All the things that go for you when its your day seem to happen to them every time I see them.......It cant be luck??

I think they have a shelf life because the moment they lose the wage structure it will all go tits up....but they are great to watch and I hope they can hold onto what they currently have as its fantastic to watch.

DJ Campbell 5 in 5 - WTF?

Charlie Adam....whoever mentioned him as a Silva back up then on current form yes. (though the bubble has to burst - surely)

Hats off to Mr Holloway & Co for me - great stuff

They get away with it sometimes - they didn't against us or Brum the other day. Though it's usually pretty close run. Holloway plays a sort of percentage game - if you throw everything at everybody you will get a fair amount of points. Really fancy them to beat Arsenal, Chelsea, Spuds and Scum at home, or at least 2 of them- Scum 'game in hand' LOL.

I said at the season's start Charlie Adam was a top player, you could see how he played last season. He's one of the best in the league now and I agree with Mad Ollie having a go at Brum and Villa trying to get him on the cheap.

Mind you he did offer an olive branch - "if Man Utd come calling with a big offer I might have to think about it, I want him to get to the top".

He surely meant City? Ideal for switching with Silva or, at times, both in the same side?

10M should do it!
