I really want to believe it, but they are barmy if they think they are getting johnson. Potentially the best English winger of his generation and bought at a fucking snip of his potential worth. But the thought of Torres, Dzeko, Tevez and Silva in a lineup....well fap me blind.

Suarez. Fucking SUAREZ.

I hope he breaks his neck tripping over Torres' broken leg.

Liverpool; proud owners of the 1st & 3rd slimeyest cheatiest cunts in the world. Penalty area at anfield, with those two charging in , spazzing out & hurling themselves on the deck , be like a scene from Resident Evil. Cunts. Hope they go down.

Rumour Mill: Deal has been done already and needs paperwork, medical etc to be completed. Sadly no word on the club but I think Chelsea would have to be frontrunners here.

Wouldn't it be funny if we hijacked Chelsea's bid at the last gasp, bit like we did for Robinho? Maybe we had a deal ready for the summer but were alerted that the player wanted to go now, so we either took him now or he was off to Chelsea, so we put a bid in...

Spanish Paper Marca saying Torres is one step away from Chelsea for a fee of around 50 million euros.

I'm not sure of our current plan. I think even if we buy every striker in the world a defender will still score against us eventually.

No, don't want him, and I think he's yesterday's news as far as City's transfer interest is concerned. I trust Mancini's vision on the team he's building, and that means Balotelli. The place in Vermont will sort out his knee problems and when this big strong lad is fit and playing regularly, taking the load off Tevez, he is going to rip the Premiership to bits.

i dont know what to think about this....i don't know why other clubs are allowed to buy players. Surely with our wealth we should just have our own transfer window, and every can just watch?

Chelsea and Liverpool are ruining football for me with their selfish acquisitions. It makes me want to shop. Who's with me? I hate feeling left out.

cheers

I think he was holding off pushing for a move until they got Suarez, at least he isn't leaving them in the lurch but you have to wonder whether he was given assurances once they got a striker in that he'd be allowed to move.

This is a bit of a shit but I cannot see him going anywhere other than Chelsea.

Handing in a transfer request means we're not even in the picture.

To be honest, I always knew the cunt would end up at Chelsea. Two aging strikers and one of the very few clubs that could afford him.

They'll depend on him like they do on Drogba and Anelka to a lesser extent and that will fuck them up when he gets injured... again.

We were the right move for him. The thing is, he never saw it that way and maybe neither did our hierarchy.

A club moving in one direction as fast as we are will live to regret little if anything in the line of ammunition for progress, so I won't lose sleep.

Tricky for Liverpool. They may have refused the transfer request but he's looked pretty disenchanted at times this season and might not be very productive if he's forced to stay.

No sign of us getting involved. It's come at the wrong time. If Tevez leaves at the end of the season then quite possibly but now? How do we keep Tevez, Torres, Dzeko happy, never mind Balotelli. It wouldn't work. Torres also wants Champions League football this season. He's not Cup tied of course.

This season it's Chelsea if it's anyone.

exactly.
i still think we need another striker (short term)who is better than jo , someone like robbie keane/kevin phillips/ who is coming to the end of there career who will get you goals in an emergency and will happily sit on the bench abit like that little tosser solskaer did.......but who , i dont know.

Think I'd be speaking to liverpool to see what's happening. Not to sign torres, but to cause uncertainty to stop chelsea getting him until summer.
