Good point. Everton seem to have our number and I put it down to the players rather than the manager. They seem to get themselves up for it, whereas they seem to have lost it big time this year against most other clubs. I reckon they've realised that after all they've done over the years it has now dawned on them that they have been fighting a losing battle and Moyes talk of pride and battle have now left them with no real chance of anything after years of playing for the shirt.

I applaud your belief and optimism. If we can do that I have no doubt we will finish top 4.How amazing that you sound less confident against the "easy" games. I know we CAN get results in those games.I believe we CAN win any game but on current form we HAVE NOT got results in the last 3 away games and two of them were Villa and Brum.

I've seen us perform much more often against the so called big four than against the Wolves of this world; that's why I'm confident about the games with Liverpool and Chelsea, especially because they are away and we seem to do better away than at home this season; Spuds, we lost to them last season, I don't think we will make the same mistake again, and Everton as I said is the most risky of the four for me, but I think we can geet away from there with a point if we battle hard enough and stay awake right from the start.

As you said it's the other games which frighten me a bit, because we have already lost four points to Brum this season, 3 to wolves, etc.

There are 3 ways we will get top 4. The ebst being that we play great from now on till the end and get 70 + whatever points and deserve it. 2nd and 3rd is that Chelsea or Spurs drop loads of points. Tonight is a good start for Chelsea and losing twice to the scum would be even better.

I wonder which of those 23 will happen. All 3 would be great :)

After tonight's result, which gives us a slight and temporary reprieve from the immediate Chelsea threat, it's almost as if our season starts here as we enter the run in. On that basis, it's all in our own hands to make of it what we can.

However, although we're now peering over our shoulders to see who's catching us up, if we look at it from the eyes of Chelsea and Spurs supporters, would the fans of those two clubs be confident of catching us, given the players we have and how well we can play on good days ?? If I was a Spurs or Chelsa fan, I'd be well afraid of what we/City could do.

Don't feel somehow that the Everton game away will provide as big an obstacle as in previous years; they seem to be unravelling at the moment and could be the side that are sucked into the relegation zone as they're only about three points above the bottom places. We're well overdue a win there and we might help send them down.

Liverpool are flattering to deceive at the moment and the King Kenny honeymoon period won't last forever and might even be starting to fade already. I'm still not convinced he's a good manager tactically and I feel we can go there and, by passing them off the park, take all three points.

I also feel that Arsenal, at some point, will revert to type and implode, as they have had a tendency to do in the past few seasons. If so, then we could finish at least third and, quite possibly, second, albeit a long way behind the Scum.

We've got the 'Indian sign' on Chelsea and the Scum will probably help us out by beating them as well.

Spurs, although the media darlings, are vastly overrated and playing a somewhat outmoded 4-4-2 system, with a manager not noted for his tactical perspicacity. They'll win some games and come a cropper in others, irrespective of the strength of the opposition and we'll turn them over this time at Eastlands.

All in all, it's in our own hands if we play without fear in every remaining game and just go out to win.

We're going to be fine, fellow blues, so just sit back and enjoy the ride and the unbeaten run we're going to put together between now and the end of the season.
