You'll be right Andie.
I could only imagine to be good enough to have played for City and in a professional league for the scouse.

Dont wear that regatta though i reckon that could ruin the deal.

They will be open in the summer if I decided to come back. The people I have spoken to within the set up are gutted but understand why I may want to go. Not one of them has stood in my way which I appreciate.

Well I think it's a pretty easy decision then.

If 80% of City-biased fans want you to do what's better for your career then I think you have your answer, doesn't mean they won't all show up to boo you though.

All interesting reading and comments and my thoughts havent changed from day 1. It does sound like City are being decent about the whole thing and if you can take the cahnce and still maybe come back later in a coaching role that sounds perfect.

Whatever you choose is the right answer.

From a personal point of view if I played for city in any capacity I could never leave, no matter the benefits, even if the buggers wanted me gone.

Many people dream of pulling on the sky blue (me being one) and to get the opportunity to do so in any official capacity would be an honor of epic proportions. Playing for any other team would never be the same.

As a city fan I'm sure you feel that way too but do what feels right in your gut, as well... the guts usually spot on.

Andie, do you play for love or money? If you did well with that scumbag of a club would it feel good? Is it worth it?

Any other club and I'd probably give you a different response but this is quite a turnaround from the girl contemplating retirement.

I think everyone is overlooking the most important factor here, if she goes and plays for the scousers, she will lose her funny yellow coloured name on here.

you should definitely go. No question about it. It doesn't mean you are turning your back to City. You can always come back when we have moved to top. If you don't give it a go, you'll end up kicking yourself.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

It's never been about the money, it's about testing myself one last time and playing at the highest level womens football has ever been at in the UK. I know every time the cup final is on TV here I'm really jealous and envious that it's not me and think I will feel the same if I see league games on the TV.

I love City so much and everyone at the club knows this but can they offer me this last chance to pit myself against the best in the country, 2 years could be too late for me.

I think you already knew what you have to do.

All I would say is you have to make the choise but once you have, never look back.

Make the best decision you can on the information available to you in the now.

Whatever you go for, good luck.

Whatever you go for, I'm sure many of us will be watchin' out for you.

Well, unfortunately for me I'm not in your position, buuuuuuuuut

I pay £5 every Tuesday and Thursday to play football in a six a side league with my mates.

I'd pay £100 a game to play for City, no thoughts about it. I'd love it, and no matter what was on offer to me, I'd never be tempted to leave it, as its my love.

But that is just me, and put money under my nose and offer me guarenteed trophies, and in reality I don't know how I'd react.
