Fair enough. I moved to Canada this year after ten years as a seasoncard holder and another ten trying to convince the adults in my family to buy me one. Managed to go to the Villa and Blackpool games over xmas, albeit up on the 3rd tier and far removed from my beloved singing section, and I would hate to think that my credentials as a fan or opinions are now in question watching on TV. I'm willing to accept that it is probably just a raw nerve that I have and that your argument was aimed at the other poster in the previously mentioned thread.

Confused a bit here.

So if guys want seats together, do we have to wait until the people with less points can but ? And risk not getting a ticket?

Also whats the crack with friends who dont have seasoncards / city cards?

My mate cant get a ticket until 6 days before the match. Thats a joke when we need to sort transport etc!!

Was also told people that are in the cup scheme this year have priority regardless of points? Thats a joke if true as you will get new fans that have never been to City before this year getting semi final tickets. I have been to every cup game bar Salzburg and Leicester but would never opt into a cup scheme.

Well said sis - very un-City like behaviour. Those of us who probably won´t be there will be tearing every sinew inside watching on the box or in the boozer

If you are such the fan you claim to be, then you wouldnt need a mate in the ticket office to "sort you out 6 together"

Yet, you come on here giving it the large one and goading others and yet claim to have had "no chance of getting one" but for your mate in the ticket office.

Fortunately one or two of us out there also have a few decent contacts within City so it might be worth checking if this is correct, and if so why ticket office staff have access to 10 tickets each. Time to ask a few questions and raise this somewhere else, as the tickets should go to the fans who followed this club through all the shite we've suffered.

Im all for genuine Blues getting tickets, but ticket office staff getting 10 each? Thats fucked up to the nines and quite frankly disgraceful if true.

I have a seasoncard with 3930 loyalty points.

Where does that leave me? I really don't get it.

Unless your dad has more or you did cup direct, it means you have to wait until the 30th. Is that amount of points definitely right? I'm not far behind that and you've had a season ticket way longer.
Just checked, I have 4400 or so (checked and then instantly forgot)

To be honest lads, going off Ruthless's posts/general attitude during his short time on this site, I'd hazard a guess that he's talking absolute shit.

Yeah I've just checked it on the site. I've not been to an away game this season and I don't think I got points for any of the ones I went to with Heywood (i.e. past three seasons or so).

I think the OSC branches just get an indiscriminate block allocation. I might be wrong.

None of us do cup direct.

Oh yeah, forgot about the OSC tickets you had. Doesn't the date clash for you anyway?

Yeah but I'd still get the ticket so my brother's got some company (and to get more loyalty points). A few people are mithering me for it already. It'll be fun to play God (but obviously shit to miss the game). Come and watch it with me in Philly!

i'm amazed that no-one has mentioned the junior bit:

We also appreciate that there may be a significant difference in loyalty points between junior supporters (under the age of 16) and their parent(s) or guardian(s). A limited allocation of tickets will be made available to Junior Seasoncard holders for purchase with a ticket for an Adult Seasoncard holder. At the point where the adult qualifies, they can also purchase up to two junior tickets (one per Junior Seasoncard holder) regardless of their loyalty point status.

so a 5 year old junior with, say, 500 points, and potentially a handful of games behind them, can jump the queue over people with 6 and 7,000 points? not to mention jumping ahead of city/access card holders with thousands of points?

It may not sound too good but at least my 2 are on around 3,000 points, not really jumping anybody but allows us to pick theirs earlier. Saying that, we would've had 50% or more well early than theirs anyway so it doesn't really make a difference.

Completely agree with you mate, amazed that they are allowing this, a kid who has taken out a season ticket in family stand at a massive discount for the first season this year could get a ticket ahead of lads been going 10 years if they're parent has enough points points ? Certainly doesnt seem fair to me
