The club is promoting discrimination by having a loyalty scheme.
That may be a better way to divvy up what limited tickets they have but nontheless it promotes a feeling or attitude of devoted attachment which may be needed to fill the place on not so glamorous occasions. But for me when there is a popular event happening I don't think previous criteria should be taken into account and a first come first served should apply.
For me the loyalty scheme rewards people for the wrong reasons.
There might be reasons why people cannot be loyal and for me this is reason enough for it to only have a certain amount of influence in allocating tickets.
You are the best WUM on here since Dev moved on.
Good work, keep it up.
I think I have more to offer than Dev.
Unfortunately not.

If you are telling me that you go to the matches because somebody is holding a gun to your head or your family is under threat I think thats a bit of a porkie pie and delusion on your part.
It would be.... if I had ever said it!??
Rag_hater wrote:You seem to have been telling yourself stories about loyalty for long enough to believe it.
I like telling myself stories about loyalty, my 6000 loyalty points make me believe it.
Rag_hater wrote:Take a look at what you do from somebody outside your circle.
What is it 'that I do' and who is in my circle??
Rag_hater wrote:To me it seems you go to the games because you enjoy it regardless of the time and expense because its what you want to do and has probably become a bit of a habit.
Loyalty becomes an issue that comes with the fact you do what you do to please yourself.
Thanks for the psyco-analysis, maybe if you use facts in future rather than making shit up that would probably help with the accuracy xx

The gun to head was an example like your example of blood boiling.Niether are likely to be true but said to make a point.See a doctor if your blood is boiling.
Loyalty has limits because there are competing objects of one’s loyalty. Being totally loyal to our club leads you to being disloyal to your family or friends.
So you have 6000 thousand pts.To me that says that regardless of what anybody thinks you will do as you please. The fact that you have acquired 6000 thousand pts along the way. That is just a benefit for you of being selfish.
By some of the stuff you have said in the M thread it seems that going to the match and having a laff at other peoples expense is something you will pay money to experience. That's loyalty I suppose.
To me it seems as if your having a lot of fun being loyal and doing whatever you want so personally wouldn't reward you for it but the club wants your money so no doubt they will give you some benefits as long as you keep spending.
And the circle you mix in I apologise but I thought someone as well known as yourself who has over time gained 6000 pts would know a few poeple at the ground etc...
Your argument is so flawed it's ridiculous. All businesses, whether in sport or elsewhere, thrive on loyalty. There are fans who go week-in, week-out, who pay their money, watch as many games as possible, and probably spend more on merchandise. They, therefore, deserve first-choice when the big games, e.g. FA Cup Finals, come around.
I, unfortunately, cannot attend many games these days as I moved abroad a few months back. I'm still coming back for the final and am doing my best to get a ticket. But by no means do I think I should get a ticket ahead of those fans who have been every week throughout the season. I've moved abroad so have given up my right to be entitled to a ticket automatically.
And that's what it comes down to, when the big games come around, those who have dedicated the most time and money should get the first choice. Even if I cannot make a game, I still watch it with as much passion as if I was in the stands chanting 'Blue Moon', but there does have to be some sort of programme to determine who gets tickets. My passion is further down the list of priorities for the club compared to ticket purchases and merchandise, and I'm fine with that.
