It's more a question of permutations - it's no longer mathematically possible for us to rely on goal difference to put us ahead of Liverpool with the score in this game as it stands (if we were to finish with the same points total). Hence why we NEED the three points from our remaining games.

The fact that we're even considering losing out to liverpool is concerning. We should be home and dry.

Suarez is fucking CLASS!

Although Fulham's second goal actually did us a favour, so it' just became possible again.

We should always have needed the 3 points & preferably nine, to see if we can get 3rd. The idea of qualifying by taking one point from 3 winnable games is fucking ridiculous. What sort of team are we to challenge for top spot & play in the Champion's Lg next season if we can't get 3 points from injury hit Spurs, Stoke & fucking Bolton ?

We really need to look at ourselves as a club. This kind of pathetic lilly livered shite spreads from the fans to the team. We should be beating Spurs, we should be beating Stoke & we should be beating Stoke again & Bolton.

Grow some fucking balls the lot of you, FFS.

Stop leaping to conclusions - it was ONE hypothetical scenario, and it would have required two draws and a loss from us, plus two more wins from Liverpool.

There are quite a few people who have been hoping we could qualify by having it handed to us on a plate & doing nothing, & now they're starting to panic because we have to actually win one game of football with our 300 million pound squad.

Fair points Ted but it would have been so nice to qualify by beating Everton so that we could rest a couple before the Cup Final. Now we need to beat Spurs to put away the CL issue before Saturday.

Who's out for Spurs tomorrow apart from Gareth Bale by the way?

Rumours Modric & Crouch may be out but I recon that's crap. Fat Tom & Arsholeykotto are deffo missing though along with 1 or 2 others I can't remember.

There's a scenario where we get 9 points from our last three games, will I get slated if I mention that too?

Correct...we are where we are due to other teams being completely shit and not because we have been playing well....we fucked up less times than Spurs did...end of.
