That would be piss funny wouldn't it.
I prefer us to go for non-rag players as well but I would not oppose if he was to join the blue revolution. He is truly a fantastic player, end off. And imho he would be a better signing than Messi

can't see him coming though.

This bloke thinks he is bigger than Real Madrid. He struts around like some sort of "Cock of the yard" that owns the place and thinks that everyone worships him. Well perhaps they did in Salford and perhaps they do in Madrid. If all the money in the world is just going to turn us into Cunts United then I'd rather not bother. Give me Joe, Nige, Vince, Micah & Zabs any day of the week, they are not perfect but they give the impression they are pleased to be at the club.

I hear what you're saying pal. but if that is what it takes for us to win trophies/take us further then so be it.
I know I would've loved it if Stephen Jordan and Willo Flood had been the ones to lift the trophies but sometimes it doesn't work like that.
whether the "cock of the yard" is cronaldo or not doesn't matter. our 19 league goal -man Tevez has hardly expressed his desire to be here either but I do appreciate the goals he has scored which has now given us CL place.

I spent several years calling Ronaldo every name under the sun to my rag 'friends'.

I do NOT want to be put in the position of having to defend myself for the hypocrisy of us buying him.

There are lines that should not be crossed, its bad enough having that ex rag bastard Tevez at our club but if we sign Christine then I might consider supporting Stockport County in the Blue square....................

When he does it in the premiership week in week out i will beleive that, he never will though and how can he be the best player in the world if he has only ever played in the most unbalanced league in the world. Apart from real and barca the rest of the league might aswell be the championship. If you put tevez in the championship and he scored 100 goals a season would he be the best in the world or just an amazing player in a shit league.

I'm not doubting messi is absolute class but take him out of the barca team and put him and ronaldo in the prem and ronaldo will score more.

Not that it matters anyway because its not likely either of them will come to the prem.

Rags will normally accept & defend any kind of odious, sly, snidey, unctuous, cunt provided it wears their abominable shirt, but most rags I know were actually embarrassed by Ronaldo in the end. They knew how good he was & they enjoyed the brilliance of his football but even they couldn't defend his behaviour & in the end, a lot of them were relieved to see the back of him as they felt he was tainting their achievements.

If even rags felt like that about him, how can we ever feel comfortable with him in our team ?

Was talking about this with a supplier the other day... especially in light of twitchers comments about signings that will blow your brains out.

For me, the first player who would blow the footballing worlds brains out is Messi..... but in all reality would he come? Nope!

After that, there are really only a handful of players who fall into the blow your brains out category. David Villa, Iniesta, Christine, Rooney.... and after that I dont see any more blow your brains out players. I know wooney has been poo this year but he is still in that category.

The only one of those I can see happening is the Ronaldo one, it would elevate the staus of our club in a huge way. Would the fans accept it, I dont know... At the thought of seeing him at City, I cant see beyond him in a RAG shirt, and THAT wink. However, take off the blue tinters and we would be getting one of the BEST playesr of this generation as he is approaching or still in the early days of his prime. Imagine him one side, with Sanchez the other side, and one of Dzeko or Cavani up top with Silva playing behind!

It would need to be very delicately handled by the club in terms of PR, I'd never boo a City player, irrespective of their past, ALA Cole and Tevez. If he came, I think he'd get a frost reception at first, but after a load of goals, and some sublime football that may change. Cant see him becoming a fan favourite, but he is the calibre of player that matches where our club want to go!

Parking up the the fact he is a diving, cheating transvestite that is SO up his own arse.............

Do we really want every rag in the world telling us that our success has been built on their cast offs? Tevez i could cope with, but sorry regardless of his footballing ability i could NEVER accept him in our shirt EVER.

We need to find other world class players that have not been through the doors at Salford.

Jesus i would rather have Kaka, Buffon or any other of the multitude of players who have openly laughed in our faces when we moved for them before.

GOD i really DO feel sick

Are we talking about the same Christine here?...

If its the one I'm thinking about then fucking YES. My rag mate who absolutely loves this guy still dreams of him going back to OT. For that reason alone I'd love him at City.

Spot on.

It would massively upset the rags if we signed him. I think him scoring against the scum at the swamp for us would be hilarious. Seeing that broken look on there twatish faces would make my year.
