The best performances are when Mourinho's team is allowed to play in the formation it used to play in, with the players who used to play in it.
Hiddink is the only manager who's had the side looking of a similar standard to when Mourinho was there.

Hiddink has denied this several times in the past already, including recently. It's media tribe. The only relation Hiddink has with Abramovich is that Hiddink was the manager of Russia and they get on well. The only reason Hiddink took over Chelsea was to help Abramovich. Hiddink has stated many times in the past, he's focused on Turkey at the moment.
Taken from the BBC:
Dutchman Hiddink, who has a close relationship with Abramovich, revealed he still has an advisory role at Stamford Bridge.
"Since I left two years ago I've been advising the club on things concerning the squad," he wrote in De Telegraaf on Saturday.
"Sometimes I become a sounding board. It costs me very little time and I can combine it well with my position with Turkey. There is no conflict at all."
I wonder if he advised them on sacking Ancelotti?
The biggest mistake Chelsea made this season was sacking Wilkins. It took them a long time to get over him leaving and that period handed United the title. I wonder who it was who sacked him?
If losing the football genius of Ray Wilkins causes such upheaval it begs the question; what does Ancelotti do? Imo the answer is; fuck all.

It's the fucking thruth. Every single Russian I've ever met have been fucking arrogant. I met some alright Russian exchange students in university but even they were arrogant. Oh and Russians have no idea how to wait for their turn. You see loads of Russian tourists in central Helsinki and if you stand in line in a shop waiting to pay for something, they just walk casually by you. Reckon it has something to do with Soviet era and having to stand in line for everything. What do you think having lived there?
Also, imo Roman is soft sack of shite compared to most Russian oligarchs. I mean, half of them would have Ancellotti's head hanging from Stamford Bridge gate at this stage. I don't think paying compensation is something they are accustomed to. That's not how they roll.

Hiddink is the new manager, put your money on. Old team with Drogba, Anelka, Terry, Fat Frank, Malouda, Cashley and Essien all north side of or touching 30 - big rebuilding job on.

from http://www.nu.nl:
BRUSSELS - Guus Hiddink can not guarantee that he is still head coach in September in Turkey. The 64-year-old Dutchman continued Friday following the draw in the European Championship qualifier against Belgium (1-1) vague about his future.

Hiddink is strongly linked with Chelsea, which is looking for a successor to Carlo Ancelotti.
The Achterhoeker got the press conference whether he was on Sept. 2 against Kazakhstan still on the bench in Turkey.
Hiddink said that unable to guarantee. ''I'm not currently in that position. I always like to be very clear. I can formally say that I still have a contract until 2012.''
The Dutchman would leave a clause in his contract with the Turkish federation have. ''If there is something to discuss, we can always talk. This is a very short but clear answer''said Hiddink.
That was posted today. Gotta love the diffirence in journalism. English media: he is definitely signing for Chelsea. Dutch media: "I'm not sure, we'll have to talk about things first."
He has said for years he wasn't interested in club football, even when he temporarily took over at Chelsea. This is a fact. He might have changed his opinion now, which is what people do in the natural course of life, just like how you didn't like eggs when you were a kid and suddenly you do. So, in all likelyhood, he might have had a change of heart. However, nothing is a guarantee, as it is made out to be in the English media.

I think that's the key sentance - to me it sounds like a 'Google translate' fucl up for "The Dutchman has a clause in his contract with the Turkish FA allowing him to leave."
