He's now doing some assistant work with the Aussie womens team.
Attack the argument of the person, not the person of the argument- except Carl.

I run into Bish from time-to-time at a local pub (I live in Boca Raton as well) and an occasional footy match when he shows up on Sundays in Coral Springs, FL. I believe he has been running soccer (it is what it is) camps and privately training young players in the area.

that leads into --

George Weah - I haven't seen him in a few weeks, but he is/was playing in the same league that Bish and I play in (actually Weah was on my team), and apparently going to garduate school somewhere in the Fort Lauderdale area (may even be law school).

Hmmmmmm.... I play mostly with and against fat aging cunts whose knees barely hold up and you have kick abouts with Weah and Ian Bishop. Only in America.

I think it is a Florida thing, players come here and retire. I played ice hockey in college, and in competitive leagues after. Being a goaltender, when I moved here to Florida there was a dearth of decent goalies, so I joined a local a league without having to look too hard. In a league of about 120 players, there were about 8 former NHL players (two of who you may know though they may be before your time - Jari Kurri and Reijo Ruotsalainen), two of which are Hall of Famers (Kurri and Denis Potvin). But believe me there is a far share of "fat aging cunts" though Bish and Weah are not there yet.
I've come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I am all out of bubblegum.

PMSL, class Lee! Actually a top guy (especially when he is playing defense in front of you), though I am sure on the ice in his day he was a menace.

Our Lass was having her feet done at the chiropodists today, and I was chatting to the chappie about Huddersfield Town's trip to the Sty and he said he was trying to get his nine year old son into supporting City. Turned out it was Andy Thackery who played in the Youth cup winning team and went on to play 500 league games at various North West clubs. I have to say, what a thoroughly good egg he was. Top man.

When I was a milkman some years ago, I was loading my float one morning, and the new guy in front of me was none other than........ Darren Beckford! He lasted about three weeks before he jacked it in, but he did have an incredibly gorgeous bint helping him every day. When I asked what the fuck had happened to him so he ended up as a milkman, (he was sold for a million snots to Norwich, when that was still considered a big fee) he claimed that he actually picked that job, so he could play golf in the daytime. Ha ha what a berk. Talking bout this today to the chiropodist Mr Thackery, he reckoned that fast women were essentially what Beckford pissed his money away on. Fair play to the lad.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.
