I was watching last night the Gold Cup quarter final between Costa Rica and Honduras and started to think that Palacios can be a great replacement.
If i recall, Twitchy doesn't like him very much, he prefers Huddlestone in most of the cases. I don't think he will cost that much and can be a genuine replacement for Paddy, and a good backup player, but knowing how old Harry is, he'd rather sell him to Peterborough.

Am I right in thinking that if Paddy stayed as a coach, he could still be eligible to play in the League and FA Cups, as they don't have any squad limitations?
Not saying that it's important or anything, just putting a hypothetical scenario out there.

Harry wants over 11m for him, be an expensive replacement, dount hed be happy with subs and cup appearances, would rather get someone else preferably.

I don't see how it's possible for a coach to play without being registered as a player (or rather player/coach) - I haven't looked at the rules but it doesnt make sense to me.

Great servant and a justified signing. His true impact will probably never understood. Well done Mancini. Well done Patrick. Well done City.. Well done everyone.

Okay then, registered as a player/coach, but not in either squad.

Great part time player and provided us with some great moments. Hope he
decides to play one more season and continue in the MLS.
