Mario Balotelli: I don't like Manchester and I'm homesick

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

You said it mate.

If wanting to leave the club takes away the legendary status of the first player to captain City to silverware for more than a generation then I think we're gonna run short on legends in the modern game.

He made history for both goal scoring and captaining the side to glory. He is a legend.

Choose to hate him for leaving you, but that changes nothing.

This has to be one of the most legendary seasons in history. Maybe i'll just put it down to the team (and Carlos).

Mario, however!

Tevez will be remembered for 2 things....scoring 50 odd goals and being a total CUNT off the pitch....Toure will be remembered for WINNING us the FA cup...which makes him more of a fucking legend than Tevez.

Ask my bollox.

I know what a legend is when it comes to football. Tough shit if you find it hard to swallow. And for all your Toure ranting - he has been here one season. As soon as he wants to leave, does he lose his "legend" status?

Gerrard, Rooney, Terry, Lampard, Fabregas all either flirted heavily with or actually did hand in a transfer request.

They are all legends of their respective football clubs.

And Toure didn't win us the cup on his own. Don't be so silly.

It had fuckall to do with TEVEZ us winning the FA cup.......history will say Toure won us the cup..as he actually put the fucking ball in the net..(Bit like Dickov putting the ball in the net )....end of numbnuts.

Don't be so fucking stupid. The cup is not one game. Tevez scored more goals in us winning the FA Cup than Toure did, but the point is that in a season where we achieved our targets of a a cup win and champs league qualification, Tevez was our best player, golden boot winner and captain.

His rate of goals to games alone puts him right in amongst the greatest to ever play for this club.

Stop making a cunt out of yourself because you're angry about that fact.

He's going, so you'll be delighted soon. The club will continue to improve without him (no doubt its a major blow), so we'll all be happy.

And the history books will say Carlos Tevez was a Man City legend.

Well...there are obviously 2 kinds of mindsets then........Thick cunts like you who compare legends like Bell...goater...Tuert...Mike Doyle..to FUCKING TEVEZ.

Spot the difference between real legends who spent years at the club and great goal scorer over 2 seasons who has complained and caused unrest for the last fucking year or so?

Get back under your rock you thick cunt.

And another thing...Kompany was the real captain of City...any sane person can see that.

He scored a late equalizer in an earlier round, but we wouldn't have been there without him.

My point was you could point at any player and at some time they contributed to our winning the cup.

Contributed yes......but like Dickovs goal against Gillingham...Toure goes down in history as the man who won us the cup....there shouldnt even be an argument arguing otherwise.

Amen.
I thought mercenaries were restricted to players when talking about Man City, but it seems there is a case for mercenary fans too going by the opinions of some.

A great, yes. A Legend? No fricking way. Two years of service, no matter how good does not make you a legend.

He may be one of the best players ever to have played in the shirt, he may even be a football legend

But he is not in anyway a City legend

Longevity is a fundamental, then there is love for the cause, adoration of the fans and some backbone as a human being

A true City legend, doesn't even need to be discussed.
