jesus....we should bring him back on a free...he'd fit right in with the crew we've got. Again! Those were so wank...it was painful to watch how confidently they were taken.

The two minutes after the final whistle speak volumes about Arsenal and their prospects of winning something this season.

I'd be disgusted to see our players hugging Barton and having a bit of banter with him after the way he conducted himself in that game. I can't see Nige or Vinny, or any of our squad, reacting to Barton after a 'performance' like that the way the Arsenal players did.

They are soft as shite and will win fuck all.

Gervinho played exactly like SwP on a bad day; sprinting past players then passing the ball back to them. Arsenal look fucking dire. Newcastle look like relegation fodder unless someone can knock a few goals in.

Looking at Arse & Liverpool today, the only way either will get in the top 4 is if one of City, rags, Chelsea or Spurs fuck up badly. Most have much bigger/better squads, so can change it if they do struggle. Arse & Pool have a couple of decent midfielders to add plus a few kids & that's it.

P.S. Adolf Barton's set pieces were even worse than his antics. What a pile of shite.

Was quite impressed with him to be honest. Looks very quick and direct, puts defenders on the back foot.

Nope. He's definitely wank.

I thought he was pretty awful. Made some good moves in the build up but when the final pass was needed he messed it up. He may need time to adjust...I thought he'd be big for Arsenal this year but now I dunno.

Arsenal looked awful overall...without Nasri and Fab they look like a group of mediocre players (except RvP). WIthout some buys theyll be lucky to make top 5. I loved the "Spend some fu*king money!" chants from the Arsenal fans.

Liverpool looked great in the 1st half..aside from Suarez's missed PK. 2nd half I dunno what happened but they collapsed. Seb Larsson's goal was great. Downing looks like a good signing, as does Adam. Henderson didnt do anything. Kuyt should start over him all the time.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Twatted Barton, red card. Stupid fucking dive as well.

Edit. Well Barton dived as well.

He had a good preseason and played well the few times I saw him last season too - IF he takes to the Prem he will do well. I thought he was a bit 'meh' up until his sending off.

MOTD have done to Sunderland, what they do to City; edited them out of the fucking game. These people do my fucking head in. Biased old guard protecting twats.

Suarez is starting to exhibit the same diving cunt traits he showed in Holland.

Don't worry, they've found it within themselves to wank over Wes Brown.

Gervinho looks great on the ball but then does not really know what to do with the ball.
He made some great runs today drawing players and beating them but then failed to deliver a decent cross let alone a pass.
Things could become very dark for him here when he realises hes not playing in France.

Just saw the incident again with Barton .

Firstly Barton should shut Stfu, his twitter comments should get him fined or banned.I really don't think players should be allowed ( by the club) comment on events during a game in an unofficial way, such as with twitter.

Secondly, i can't understand what goes through the brains of some of these thicko footballers, there are loads of cameras, all positions to reshow the incident. Thicko Taylor , after the event is gesticulating to the linesman that Barton was clearly elbowed in some outrageous and ugly way.

I really hope City turn these guys over in a big way this year.

I actually think his strongpoint is his movement off the ball personally, he makes it easy for his team mates to either find him with the ball or exploit space he has created for them. I can see why Arsenal went for him, his style of play is well suited to them. (his 'end product' was very poor yesterday though, but it wont always be that bad)

I thought he looked fucking dreadful on the ball. Good letting the ball drift across him, good running into space, but with the ball at his feet he looked sub-par. He had an early chance when he got the ball played through, got it caught in his feet and then panicked and played a shit pass back to Van Persie that was cleared. That set the tone for his whole performance.

Just watching MotD and can't believe how much Hansen is bigging up the Dippers (alright, I can actually). Did he not see the second half when all's they could do was lump the ball upfield? Did he not see Sunderland pass the ball around them like Kenny's men were supposed to do to them?

At least he had something good to say about the Black Cats, even if it was Wes Brown. Or, was that a back-handed way of saying the Dippers would've hammered them if only for the ex-Rag guy? Probably the latter.

How the fuck does Delap throw it so far, it still amazes me.

Edit: Mancini and Platt sat in the stands. I wonder if they are scouting Pennant ;-0

Mark Halsey, a fucking hero.

Chelsea just don't look the same without Drogba upfront, Torres just doesn't play the same role so they look disjointed going forward. I'm sure that now I've said that, it'll all change.
