Minimal chances to play at his age
Wont get picked for England whilst bench warming.
Will be found out to be yet another over hyped English player surrounded by class.
He has already had a similar spell at Chelsea. That didnt work out for him and he's five years older now.
If I was him at his age I'd be going to a Villa, Everton, Newcastle playing every week and being a big fish in a small pond. Cementing his reputation and England place in a year ending in a tournament.

All the talk so far has been that he wants a wide man to replace SWP and a top class centre back to partner Kompany. I don't see how Parker fits the bill.

There again there's been talk that after Nasri he can only have loans. Perhaps Albiol is available from Real. He seems to have slipped down the pecking order.

Parker could be a loan.
I've never studied Coates in detail (no puns please) but he's 6 ft 6 & pretty fast by all accounts. The fact he's from Uraguay suggests he should be half decent technically as a footballer. If he turns out the dogs bollox & we've signed a much physically smaller CB with no pace who's average in the air instead, I will be somewhat disappointed to say the least.

So, what's the problem with Scotty Parker?

Does this mean he motivated the West Ham squad to get relegated, as they probably shouldn't have? Either that or his motivational skills are a myth. Either way it's bad.
