Jesus, I can't undesrtand some of the stuff in this thread - this was a terrific game which Arseanl totally deserved to win and played some quality football. Walcott learnt from his mistake in the first half with the finish in the second half. Showed a lot of character for a young side under pressure.
Arsenal always good value in europe, anyone who understands the game would know the same. Yes the current team may well lack experience and depth to be a real force but don't under estimate Wenger to strengthen their squad with what they need before this window closes.
I've been a city fan for 35 years and revelled in last seasons success, but our lofty position and bright future is in my opinion no reason to lower ourselves to the level of those 'fans' from other clubs who used to think they were 'holier than thou' because of the success of their club.
