Scotland v Czech Republic at 1500 hrs, they've got to win this one if they're to have a realistic chance of getting though. Czech's on 9 points, Jocks on 4.

Thats 9 defeats for England in the last 71 competetive games, or 9 defeats in over 10 years for us now. I honestly don't get why we are laughed at by our own.

I honestly don't get it either. I also don't understand the 'Club v Country' bit, when have England played against Man City or the Rags? It's just a cop-out for those who have been beaten down a little because the media said 'This is our year' everytime we come up to a tournament.

For me, Taggart is one of, if not thee main instigator when it comes to the Club v Country row thing, pointed out again with his recent explosion at the FA where he states that they treat him like shit.

I want them to get stuffed. I love the country and all my mates are scottish but when you live up here they are fucking unbearable in a sporting sense.

Seeing the Argentina Maradona 86 shirts outside the ground and then hearing the tartan army belting out Doe a Deer was enough to remind me that I hope they fail to make another major championships until I'm long gone.

It stems for their constant quest to differentiate themselves from the English.

It first surfaced when England still had a hooligan problem and the scotch thought the best way they could prove they were not English was by singing this and other 'happy songs' when on tour. This song stuck.

The 'we're not English, we're nice' phenomenon grew arms and legs in the late 90's early 00's and actually say tartan army members searching the streets of various European cities looking for old women who needed a had with their shopping and scraping chewing gum of the streets of cities such as Paris, Riga and Milan with their bare finger nails.

I see, thanks for clearing that up. So, what you are saying is that 'They're Cunts'.

PS. Still 0-0 with the Jocks getting back into it. Czech still look the more likely though.

Late Kenny Miller goal puts Scotland in the driving seat going into the 2nd half.

Incorrect. It came about from drawing Austria before World Cup 98. Being the home of the Sounds of Music it was a song sang at the game and it stuck. Like most football chants it caught on just like we do the Poznan. In a stadium it works beautifully. I love it.

I think we may have scrored far to early. Awful 45 minutes and now Czechs who would have been delighted with a draw will now really have to go for it.

I speak the truth.

Even if the origins of the song are dubious (my version is claimed as being accurate by many) the stuff about helping pensioners with their shopping, scraping chewing gum of the streets of opposition cities and wearing Maradona shirts is fact!
