We didn't actually play that badly. QPR played a really good game, they beat Chelsea with their previous home game, their fans gave them a standing ovation for their performance. They were clever, they targeted our weaknesses and they defended well enough to disrupt our attacking momentum most of the time.

The rags get plenty of plaudits for their successes, but not everything that a team does well makes them united-esque. We all know exactly what they would have done in the same situation, they would have shut down QPR's most productive outlet by kicking the absolute fuck out of SWP. They did it to us before and they do it whenever anyone puts it up to them. We showed mental strength by overcoming adversity, but that's what any good team would do, it's not some special fucking trait that the rags have.

We didn't particularly grind out anything either, we put on a 3rd forward immediately after going up.

That was a very telling match. We were well out of sorts, and yet still contributed to a great game. With City's attacking options, I'm feeling more confident than ever that this should be our title winning season. My only concern is that we lack defensive depth - and indeed defensive know-how - but with us banging in three or four goals per game, it's not really that big a problem.

The sheer number of late goals they get to rescue so many situations suggests otherwise.

Didn't we score our 3rd in like the 73rd minute? That's about 20 minutes earlier than them lot normally end up scabbing a win from.

It was our 3rd. That's THREE GOALS away from home. On a day when we defended like the blind paperboys 11, we still scored 3 goals & it should have been more. We came from a goal down, with a badly selected, disorganised team, not playing fluently, a bit jaded after the Chump's Lg game, small pitch, avid crowd, 2 ex City players, captain missing, & fucking scored 3 goals.

Awesome.
