He did fantastically well, but if we are nitpicking, bearing in mind that I'm a Dzeko fan, he took one touch too many before crossing. Watch it again. An earlier ball would have given silva more time to weave his magic.

It has to be said that Reina did brilliantly and credit the dippers for getting 3 on the line.

Oh come on. Dzeko couldn't of done more, he couldn't have played a better ball to Silva. All SIlva needed to do was finish a simple chance you'd expect anyone to convert.

Put in context - (game after a midweek euro defeat) against a rested team with it's tail up so to speak, and down to ten men whilst most of our team looked shagged out on their feet - I think it was a very good point away from home.

That's one nitpick. The other is that Silva could have been more aware of what was on his right, as he could very very easily feigned a move to the left and shifted it right, or let it run on to the right and it would have been an open net for a tap in, he went left and the rest is history.

after getting battered there last season, after loosing to napoli on tue night, after getting a man sent off, and after having to put up with bias ref i think it was a super point. and most of us would have taken that before the game.
Its very hard to beat liverpool at anfield, we wont have a tough as an away game as that for the rest of the season.

i wish that SOME people would stop banging on about going the whole season unbeaten, like arsenal did a few years back, that will not happen to us, it can not happen now the way the league is.
