Can't believe in this whole thread no-one has mentioned David Brightwell.

By far the worst ever City player.

You can't squeeze elano in as a fullback just cos he played there once. That's like saying Niall Quinn was our worst keeper. Even though he wasn't.

Yes I can, as he played there once, not because of a red card but because he told the manager he could play there & the manager believed him & picked him as a right back. It was the worst right back performance I've ever seen anywhere. Gerry Taggart wasn't a left back either but another plonker of a decision saw him played there & engineer a 0-4 at Blacxkburn on the day of the Hillsboro tragedy. Thus, he squeezes out Stephen Jordan & Mark Seagraves, but only just.

So why has no-one mentioned the man who at the time was slated by all on here as the worst player ever.
Our very own Sibierski.

Sommeil was OK compared to some of the dross we've had. Did Colosimo ever even play?

The other two were desperately shit, though Frank Clark chased Russell and then played him out of position. Numb cunt. Definitely the worst full-time city boss of my lifetime.

Sommeil (and Negouai for the comedy factor) shouldn't be here. Feel bad for the way Edghill was treated, too - he took a great penalty in the Gillingham game.

Colosimo's made a decent career of it here in Aus.

Swales was the club secretary during the Mercer years and became only chairman later on. When Franny took over the club was being run financially for Swales and his bonkers mates first and the club second. It was being run like a tom bola stall at a village fete with hands in the till. What people forget about Franny was he was starting off with this huge mess that he had to untangle. I speak as a former shareholder and for my money he's one of our best. And I always had a soft spot for Alan Ball so I won't hold that against him.

For sheer crapness I think Steve Daley and Superbob Taylor take some beating. Daley in particular cause he cost so much. I'd also add George Weah in there. Oh and those other Georgian blokes who came with Kinky.

Murtaz Sheila or Kakaber Tskhadadse (something like that) Sheila was the worst if memory serves me right

I can't have Weah in there he had a cracking odd game alongside Wanchope but if memory serves he fell out with Royle

Unfairly I thought. He used to put in a shift as did Jihai (mentioned in this thread) which is a damn sight more than the majority of city players in the last 30 years
