Anybody hear Tyldsley let slip about how it'd be good for the league if the Rags got their 20th title in the 20th year of the Premier League?

I ain't bricking it, we can only do what we do and if it's to be their year then so be it. All's I can say is that we've been unfortunate enough to see things this year that are usually put down to inconsistencies or mistakes, just like that Ade non-goal today. If we win it we win it on craft and guile, not lucky breaks or erroneous calls.

Tyldsley is a weird one. I've watched the semi final a thew times after it happend and he sounded really euforic when the final whistle was blown. On the other hand, we are used to this, we had Wilkins with his "win for the premiership", Tyler with his ass licking, Smith talking shite. The only genuine commentator that had some blue in his "coverage" was (at least this season), Brian Little.

Oh what sweet comfy lives some of you lot live. Grown fuckin men "bricking it"...sheeeesh!!!!!

We are currently watching the BEST EVER CITY TEAM IN THE LONG HISTORYOF OUR ILLUSTRIOUS CLUB.
None of us...me included have ever seen a City team play with such panache, skill and ability so consistantly.
Never have any of us left the ground at the end games with so many good memories and so many smiles.
Never have any of us seen a City team score so many good goals of such good quality
Never have any of us ever watched such high quality players in blue shirts all together in one City team.
.....and so on...and so on.....and so on....

Worrying that the rags may win the League whilst we were relegated to the 2nd tier.
Worrying that the rags may win the League whilst we were relegated to the 3rd tier.
Worrying that we were 2 goals down to Gillingham with time running out and the future of our club was in doubt.
THAT WAS WHAT WE WORRIED ABOUT.

We are now 2 years into Mancini's part of our project. No other club in recent football history has made such a rapid rise to the very top....and you WORRY?
It took Taggart yearsto get his rags to the standard we are at now...and you worry?
Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have spent plenty and are imploding beneath us, before our very eyes...and you worry?

YOU BUNCH OF SOFT BASTARDS.....No ifs or buts,....JUST A BUNCH OF SOFT BASTARDS. GET A FUCKING GRIP.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

I appreciate the sentiment John..and I agree with everything you've said

But you can't get away from the fact they are still in this..despite playing badly all season

I think anyone in their right mind would be worried/wary of the threat they pose to our first title since 68

To be so blasé about it is foolish IMO

So basically you were wrong. ;)

So maybe R&B Jesus is a closet rag. We've all got fucking problems and secrets and issues.

I think he started this thread because he's a pussy not because he's a rag lover. He's a rag hater.

Lets get back on topic.

Beeks if you could get a job for the rags earning say twice the max pay youve ever earned P.A. and say the job was I dunno spinning records or watching episodes of Sherlock....would you take the job?

If for example they wanted to pay me to read books and browse Internet porn for twice my current salary I'd like to go on record as saying that is a job I think I'd excel at even in uhm "enemy territory"

Cheers

Doomy I can catagorically state I wouldn't work for the rags for any money

I would rather be a sewer cleaner and wade through shit doing 12 hour shifts

Shit..I'd work in McDonalds first

The worst that can happen is that we finish second. One step up from last year. They have to win more than us. Beat them at the Etihad and they need two more wims than us - time's running out

If we finish second it is an improvement on last season. As long as we keep improving that is all that counts for me. Add to that the entertainment provided, which is second to none. The profile of the club has been raised worldwide by the title challenge and the entertaining football, which will please the owners.

Why should I worry? Things are better than they have ever been for a City fan of my generation. Whether the title comes this year, next year or the one after, it is coming.

I actually think Bacon's arrogance in team selection against one of the teams that should be a pushover might cost them yet.I must admit I'd love to be and thought we would be more than two points up on them by now.

They have got more points and scored more goals away from home this season than they did in the whole of last season. To win the league, they'll probably have to win every game left and at least get a point at the Etihad - something no one has done in over a year.

They are having a PHENOMENAL season, that could easily leave them with their best ever points total. No doubt if they win the league they'll deserve it.

But despite all that, we're still 2 points ahead. I can see that at the end, one of us will beat Chelsea's points and the other will be close to it. It's going to be tense, but it will have been a fantastic season, with the same to come next year.
