Not because I vehemently disagree Mate, you are well entitled to you opinion but with no rationalisation to your headline, no effort to create debate and no points put forward for discussion, it was about the same quality as the Sun,the Sport or the dumbed down sensationalist Talkshite.

Terrible Mate.

I feel like I've just been 'done' at school by one of the English teachers. Specifically the mad old one, who should have been put out to grass years ago and looks like he has always been old.
I answered the question posed and added an extra flavour to it.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

We've turned over some of our real bogey sides (including a double over Spurs) and we humilated the filth at the Swamp whilst giving baconface his biggest ever defeat.

I don't know about anyone else but I've enjoyed this season better than any other I can remember. Anyone who thinks that we'll just walk it to the title whilst wiping each and every other team aside needs to get a grip and remember that this is City. You can't have all these good times without some of the obligatory shite that goes with being a City fan, no matter how big and rich we've become.

Regardless of what happens here on in, I will see this season as a success. If we don't win anything, so what? It's nothing new. It's not like I'm not used to it. Aside from last season we've gone decades without winning anything, now we're expected to win something every season?

We should still be improving and still growing and still building. Each season should be better than the last and if it is, then that should be seen as a successful season. If we keep heading in the right direction, the trophies will come.

Yes we are expected to win something and getting knocked out of the cups the way we did domestically and in Europe was a fuckign shambles...... Mancini s fault and he has said as much in many matches...the thing is , he doesn't learn from it.

Worrying imo.

I grant you that the Liverpool defeat in the League cup shouldn't have happened. The FA Cup was out of our hands with Kompany being sent off (....the start of the slide for the season, IMO). The Chumps League was pretty much doomed from the start, with the Tevez issue and the late Napoli goal but we're in it next season so hopefully, we'll have a better run.

The thing is, when we start talking about winning trophies like it's our god given right, we start sounding like rags or scousers. Yeah, we should be challenging and yeah, we should be winning some stuff but we have to accept that some seasons we won't win anything. So long as we continue to improve, and we have, then people should just chill out and if we've fucked it this season we should start looking forward to the next.

I read that before even seeing who posted it ... fucling quality post(s) fella.

not to be overly optimistic but I did the BBC predictior today and have us winning the title by 2 points. I even had us draw 2-2 with Arsenal.

Doesn't sound optimistic at all.

So basically the Rags lost half their remaining matches? 7 pts behind with 6 to go? Sounds totally not optimistic at all.

if we fail to win it then it will not at all be a success....think about it.

High point(s) of the season
The quality of football before christmas.
Derby win.

Low points,
Terrible champions league.
Going out of the cups easily.
Very poor in eurpoa.
Balotelli continuing to behave like a child.
That night in munich.
Tevez behaving like a ....
Dzeko.
Strange team selections (clichy at right back etc).
Mancini failing to see that richards should have been in for savic, even though everyone else could see it (he did it when it was too late).
Mancini being too stubborn.
Mancini making too many mistakes and admitting them publicly therefore undermining confidence.
Tevez 'returning' saga.
Silva becoming too 'burnt out'.
ACON.
Many key players since christmas playing well below par, milner (where has he gone to?), johnson, barry, dzeko, nasri (intermittent periods of half decent play now and again), silva 65% of the player he was in aug-dec 2011, you could add a few more to this list.
Our poor form since christmas.
The list of low points goes on.

Maybe i am being too harsh but AT THE MOMENT there are too many low points for it to be a good season for me. Only one thing will wipe all those low points out, and winning it looks unlikely.

If you were to look back over the rags' season it would be even worse.

Most seasons in football have stuff like this. Occasionally a team wins everything, like once every 15 years or so. The rest of the time, the season is full of setbacks for everybody & then somebody then wins at the end.

I had the lose against us, draw with Sunderland and put in a cheeky draw with Swansea as well., we all know what can happen if somebody actually shows up to play football at old Trafford. (bilbao, Ajax, Blackburn, us)

its not impossible. I hate the way fans are makings the rags look like footballing gods when they have been dismantled more than a couple of times.

wouldnt tag as "terrible" getting 10 pts. fm the toughest probably ever CL group at debut. 9/10 times it'd garanteed qualification. doesnt change very much the overall judgement, but again a solid expierence to build on.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

Funny how you think we can't make up five points on the team above us, but you fear the team behind us can make up thirteen on us.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.
