Lescott deserves a big mention, as does Micah, and Sergio

With the high standards we've got I think this seasons will be close. More I think about it the more I think it's tiny reasons that will rule out most.

Yaya - no hard feelings for ripping your country and mad respect for fighting to stay longer before leaving, but 8 games away rules him out for me.

Vinny - a rock, but just short of his own high standards.

Barry - too heavily rotated.

Sergio - close 2nd for me, but ultimately out the team a tad too often.

Joe - another close call.

Micah wins it for me as he had the class of his more experienced team mates, raw attributes and the mental strength to get his game back to the highs of a few years back. Captained us at times and would bleed for the shirt. Also kept smiling and working hard through Fabios stupid rejections and is a product of the academy. Gets my vote x 3
