Well according to a Norwegian rag mate of mine, we won it because we played some of the best football in the history of the Premier League. Having just watched some re-runs of rags, Arsenal etc best teams on ESPN, he's dead right. Football has moved on & we have one of the best sides ever to kick a ball around.

Worst rag team ever? Is that because football only started with the premier league or are they worse than the side that got relegated?

If they were available, I'd take Messi without question. But I wouldn't take Tranny? Not because he's an egotistical lady boy or even because he's an ex-rag - in fact, that would be the only thing that would make me want him as they'd go nuts. The reason is that there is no team spirit with him there. It's bad at Real but did you watch Portugal? Everything was about him and he'd be the same with us. Many of us have given our reasons for the rags' relative success, but 5th placed Chelsea winning the Chump's Lg over 'better' teams, shows exactly why the Premier League is different & why it's a lot harder to play the kind of football we do, & succeed in our league, than for the likes of Barca & Real to do it in theirs.

We may not have mastered European football yet (but we will sooner or later) but put any of those fuckers in our league & they'd find it very very tough to finish above us. And we are just getting started.
