Incredibly to think the money we have spent on LB's to replace Garrido. He offered almost identical attributes to Kolarov. Could not defend, Great going forward and could hit a sweet set piece. Unlike Bridge and Kolarov he was a likable grafter who seemed happy to be part of a squad set up.

That's harsh on Kolarov. His attitude is decent on & off the pitch, he doesn't moan at all & comes across as a likeable bloke, always good for a laugh. Too bad he's generally so far out of position, he doesn't even have the opportunity to get stuck in most of the time.

He'll make 3-5 times more going on loan then signing for a new club permanently, then when he's out of contract he can ask for more wages from the next club as they don't have to pay a transfer fee.

Don't remember Bridge excelling in a single match with MCFC before he finally got rumbled.

I agree with rest of it but he is not going to get another decent contract anywhere ever again. There's a reason why he is in Brighton now, because no one in Premier League wanted him. I'm pretty sure we would've been happy to loan him back to Southampton for example but he simply isn't fit to play at this level anymore.

I think once his contract runs out, he is done with it. Never seemed like someone who particularily loved the game itself so I can't see him dropping down the divisions to pick 2k/w and just enjoy playing.

Yeah, Kolorov gets some undiserved stick. He has such a great left foot. Id use him more as an option for left wing when we have Dzeko and/or Balotelli up front.
