I guess not. He reminds me of Munch's scream or one of the dementors from the Harry potter films. He also supported whoever was playing England in the worldmcup. Twunt.

In this country, if you are from NSW you hate people from Victoria, if you are from Victoria you hate people from NSW, if you're from Qld you don't care because you have the best sun and everyone hates you for it. All three of those states hate WA and WA hates them right back, and South Australia is angry and hates everyone because no-one cares enough to hate them.

However, we all unite as one and come together with our collective hatred of New Zealand and we even tolerate the NZers joining in our hate of the English. Hope this helps.

You give Perth too much credit, no one over here cares about WA.

Does anyone know the rules of volleyball? I don't and there is a guy in a different coloured shirt and it's bothering me, he doesn't appear to be doing anything special that everyone else isn't.

She's always like that, biggest serve in the women's game to when it is working right and a terrific forehand. Congrats though to Murray and Laura Robson on getting to the final and a guaranteed silver medal at least!

Just watched the 100m final. Sensational stuff from the Jamaicans. Bolt, still the quickest man on earth and in history. Walcott would definitely smash his world record though. Adam Gemili is one to watch for the future.

I went to make a tuna sandwich whilst the athletes were warming up, with tracksuits still on, & when I came back it was over ( & I don't fuck about when making a tuna sandwich).

Oh & Boris Johnson, I believe some of the Torys want him to be Prime Minister. I can't see any bad side to that.

I think he's a defensive player only and can't go to the net? Don't ask me why though

Libero
In 1998 the libero player was introduced internationally. The libero is a player specialized in defensive skills: the libero must wear a contrasting jersey color from his or her teammates and cannot block or attack the ball when it is entirely above net height. When the ball is not in play, the libero can replace any back-row player, without prior notice to the officials. This replacement does not count against the substitution limit each team is allowed per set, although the libero may be replaced only by the player whom he or she replaced.

The libero may function as a setter only under certain restrictions. If she/he makes an overhand set, she/he must be standing behind (and not stepping on) the 3-meter line; otherwise, the ball cannot be attacked above the net in front of the 3-meter line. An underhand pass is allowed from any part of the court.

The libero is, generally, the most skilled defensive player on the team. There is also a libero tracking sheet, where the referees or officiating team must keep track of whom the libero subs in and out for. There may only be one libero per set (game), although there may be a different libero in the beginning of any new set (game).

Furthermore, a libero is not allowed to serve, according to international rules, with the exception of the NCAA women's volleyball games, where a 2004 rule change allows the libero to serve, but only in a specific rotation. That is, the libero can only serve for one person, not for all of the people for whom he or she goes in. That rule change was also applied to high school and junior high play soon after.

I for one am getting sick of the constant stream of Olympics-themed jokes. How does everybody else feel about this?

Discus.
