Kolarov is NOT a winger, Kolarov is NOT a set piece specialist, Kolarov is NOT a midfielder, Kolarov is NOT an attacking midfield player NOR is he a part-time (cover) striker ... so why do people judge him on all these, I fail to understand ...

What he is, is a defender, a left-back at that ... and as that, he is shite, sucks big time ... so stop fucking around and ship him out ASAP and get a cover for left-back ...

All we need is a centre back and cover for left back ... and I'll be extremely happy with our squad. The AC Milan game today cleared up how much depth we have in our defence in six minutes ... so stop fucking praising his all the part time hit and miss roles, and talk about what he is supposed to be, a left back for us, and I am afraid he's shit at that ...

A bit like that 19yr old Agar, the Aussie spinner who makes 98 on debut and everybody is in love with him, the whole of Australia and even our very own English media ... Kolarov is an adequate stand-in and a decent impact player from the bench when allowed to push forward. He has his moments of slappable defending but some of the stuff spouted about him on here is well over the top. He'd have been our best player seven years ago (well, top three).

Thats not difficult....I dont rate him. Going back to the days of Michael Frontzeck (who won the world cup dont you know!!), we have had shit left backs. Clichy is the best we have had I suppose. If somebody wanted to offer money for Kolorov we should take it. Put it towards Baines and leave the central defence alone. Between Vinnie, Nasty, Lescott, Micah and last resort Garcia it is well covered.

No point going for Baines unless we are looking for someone to take set pieces. And in my opinion main free kick taker should not be defender since it breaks the flow of the game in many occasions when you have to wait for leftback to jog there. But that's just a nuance, not a big deal.

Otherwise Clichu should be pencilled starter, Zabaleta is almost equally good on leftside, Lescott is really good leftback, Barry and Garcia can play there as well.

Fuck Kolarov off and maybe add some centerback depth.

Kolarov is supposed to be a defender but he cant defend , he has proved that many times ! As has been said he is a quality impact player with a decent cross and fantastic LEFT foot shot ....... invaluable in certain free kick situations .

The only problem with Kolorov is that he can't defend. This is one huge problem I know and is the only reason people want him out.

He is quite good going forward and has a good left peg, but that's not enough for the level of football we want to play or for the level of football we will be playing against.

Now I'm no boo boy, but if your position is LB, you need to be able to defend first!
