I said at half time Mario was having a good came by his standards, dropping off into midfield and setting things up. Unfortunately he didn't look like scoring. Nor did he play with sufficient devil to ruffle the rags. You know what I think of Bert. He is like most of them. An arse covering hypocrit.Ripping into the player he chose to pick who had done well is fucking bollocks, as it was with Marwood. However,I wouldn't criticise Aguero today. Yes he tried to take them on on his own and yes, there were angles for shots and passes he didn't see. But what is any player, particularly a striker, going to think when they see that team sheet go up.What do blokes like Kidd think for fecks sake.I've said for a while now that Tevez has lost a bit of the pace and power that made things happen in the box. But v the Rags he'd be the first name on the team sheet for a while yet to anyone with one iota of understanding of the premiership and this type of game.It isn't going to be chess, is it.

I was against Mancini’s decision to start Mario ahead of Tevez for the simple reason that he only scored once in the last few months. However, he had a great game at first half and I was furious when Mancini subbed him ahead of Nasri or, even Sergio, who I think doesn’t value Mario’s contribution that much. Dear Sergio, it was Mario that passed you that fucking ball that won us the fucking league last year and made you a fucking hero! The problem is, Sergio will never regard, nor respect Mario on the field, no matter how hard Mario tries. Mancini handling of Mario…. I would rather go to sleep! I hope Mario finds the right manager that will take his talent to the next level. Wish him all the best.

So why isn't he doing his job and scoring? Bar Wigan when was the last time he scored, back in April? The guy throws himself to the floor if he loses the ball and someone brushed past him.

He wasn't actually bad today, did a lot of good things. A few silly backheels but that's about it in terms of negativity.

Nasri starting every week is more of a concern.

To say Mario is shit is OTT. We don't play to his strengths. We don't play to Dzecko's strengths either. Both are simply no. 9s.

The point of forwards is to score goals. With the ball, the point of the rest of the team is to give them the amunition. If Mario (or Edin) was missing shed loads of chances that were laid on a plate, then they WOULD be shit.

We need to think about the way the team is set up
"You sir, will either be hung as a traitor or die of the pox"
"That sir, depends on whether I embrace your principles or your mistress"

Yes its the fat journalists fault he is shit

But he wasn't shit yesterday. He didn't have an amazing game but he put more in effort and was involved in more of the play when Aguero and him were on the pitch together. Aguero was far worse. Yet the media, and many on here sadly, choose to ignore that and focus solely on Balotelli.

When was the last time Balotelli had a good game for City?

who scored all there goals last year when Tevez was in Argentina playing Golf? When Edin Dzeko's form was terrible. It was Mario who was getting on the score sheet. Who scored the brace in the 6-1 drubbing in the derby? Who scored the 2nd goal vs Sunderland last year when they were down 3-1 with 5 mins left? And restored hope and got the tie! Without Mario City wouldve never won the title last year! Mario needs to be played centrally with Mancini. he dosent play well when he is partnered up. Look at the Euros vs Germany. How does these new findings make you feel about being a legend at this Scum-site?
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."
