Mario is one of the 5 most recognized footballers in the world, and is probably one of the top 20 most talented. In terms of "value" i would tell you that i think he's worth 25M. If he lands at the right club he could be worth 40M this time next season.

I wish he could prove that here, but he may need a move elsewhere because of his love/hate, father/son bollox with Mancini imho. This should have been his breakout season on the back of the Euros.

Balotelli has done nothing wrong at all this season imo. The problem is that he's done nothing in particular this season. If Guidetti had been fully fit, I'm pretty sure he would have contributed more to the squad than Balotelli. That's not to say I believe Guidetti will make it, I don't know either way, but I'm sure he would have chipped in with goals & assists as a sub & maybe even occasional starter.

I've said before, I think Mario needs to push himself in order to reach the next level.

He is supremely talented but he's not got the natural talent of a Messi or Pele, or even Ronaldinho. He is someone who needs to perfect his skills with extra work off the pitch & make the best of the ability he has got. Put Beckham or even Can***a's off field practice into Balotelli & he would be fantastic.

I fear he will end up like José Antonio Reyes or similar unless he starts producing very soon. FA Cup may be his lifeline.

It is unfair to compare players that constantly plays and players who s not playing, we all know that Ballo has problems with discipline, but his talent is unquestioned , and I do not know what's pushing so much criticism when he did not played from rags game.Dont know why Bob does not give him play more time to recover, he is now few games in which it could be introduced at 20 30 minutes before the end .If he play in Villa all games he would have done better then on bench , players need to play whatever their discipline, so u can compere players.
