As for the decent understudy to Zaba, who is it who's fit? The only option would be Milner playing there.

If Bob reckons PabZab needs a little more recuperation time with his current injury (after all, perhaps he is a little 'battle scarred' at the moment), he might consider playing Nasti at right back and bringing in Lescott alongside Vinnie, to cope with Stoke's aerial warfare threat.

I very much doubt that mate, Bob is reluctant to play Nasti at right side of centre back nevermind right back. Ifwe need an emergency right back it's either Milner or Clichy imo. I do think Lescott will partner Vinnie for this one.

I reckon the Zabman will be raring to go anyway, so it's a moot point.

thats still solid but "rested"

Hart
Milner Kompany Lescott AK
Rodwell Barry
Nasri Balo Sinclair
Dzeko

(not sure about Sinclair but definitely think the defense should look like that)

This is how I see it, there's resting and using our great bench, and then resting and fielding a weakened team. Rest key players and put good experienced players in their place

Yeah..that was my point. Using our lavish and expensive bench isn't really rest. Its being smart.

Although I think I'm gonna revise my team to:

Hart
Zaba/Milner Kompany Lescott AK
Barry Garcia
Nasri Tevez Silva
Dzeko

Id like to see Zaba rested after coming off his injury but the only replacement we have for him right now is Milner or Clichy. If Zaba or Clichy plays RB then Id like to see Milner pair Barry in midfield for Garcia.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Should Chelsea win tonight (and qualify for the LeagueCup Final) and we lose at Stoke ... we could be out of games for almost a month ... yes, no games between Feb 9 and Mar 4 ... as the Chelsea home game will have to be rescheduled due to the CapitalOneCup and we won't have FA Cup 5th round game ... That's why I hate every time we get out of a competition, be it League Cup or Europa League ...

That is a long time not be playing.
I can't see us not winning though (touch wood) as we have been playing well recently and we destroyed them last time. They need to go to the Britania with the same mind set as they had when we played them at home. Play them off the park.

Stoke are piss poor. If we lose we'll be very unlucky. Draw would be good enough - we've been very unlucky to draw there recently

Go for the jugular.

Stoke will play a slightly different game to there usual shite as its cup football so we should dominate the midfield , there fans will be noisy though as they are proper dim inbred fuckers.

Absolutely. We should be able to run rings around their midfielders. Aguero back in the team to ruin Huth and Shawcross and Silva to supply the ammo.
