Because he's white you're assuming he's got a small penis?

Racist.

no - it's his definition of "length" that makes me think he has a problem with "measurement".

hope that wasn't too defined for you, but nice try :)

10 yards is 10 yards, whichever way you look at it. It's not hard is it, a yard is a pace, one normal walking step. Do that 10 times and you're sorted. If he couldn't get that right then .............

However, watching that game, and specifically that decision, got me thinking. It reminded me of a certain game where the Rags played the Arse in which the Arse could've seen their 50th unbeaten game. This was the point for me where I knew (and I mean 'Knew') that all wasn't right in the game. Rather than tell you about it I'll let you watch the incidents and decide for yourself.

This was the referee who was accused of all sorts of bias towards the Rags and then was removed from ref'ing and appointed the boss of them. Whywould they employ such a man and furthermore, why would he let a Mancunian ref one of the Manchester clubs?

I'd forgotten how bad that game was. The way they systematically took Reyes out of the game was very similar to what they did to SWP a few seasons back at the Etihad where they took it in turns to kick the only threat we had, but as it was always the 'first foul' they kept getting away with it.

Anyway, what's wrong with some football mad kid from Manchester growing up to be a ref and then refereeing one of the two sides from his home city? Not like he'd have ever supported one of them, is it?

Oh stop this, watch the highlights again on the OS site. Liverpool were quickly up the pitch. Edin sitting on his arse had no effect on that. Edin dashing back to help would have had no effect either . Edin was clearly fouled and none of us know how much it may have hurt him.

What will I see that's different, to the events I saw at the game. He acted like a plum, like he always does. Lets get one thing straight, if it had been the other way round, and City had kicked the ball out when in possession, a lot of blues would be rightly pissed off. If it hurt him he's a soft cunt.

quite an unbelieavable thread being as no free kick was given, rightly or wrongly, decko should get up and get on with it. plus, we drew with a team better than us on the day,and imho, that definitely wasn't the referees fault.

but for both sides in that game... he minced no more than 8 yards at any free kick.

edin did get up and get on with it, but not to your liking

david silva tapped the ball out when a qpr player was injured. he didn't have to do it

City want to win , united , liverpool will take advantage of our play fair attitude.

We have a choice, we behave in a way that we despise in other teams, or we don't.

agreed, he suddenly found the strength to get booked, immediately after they scored.

Edin Dzeko takes some of the blame for the goal as well, for not getting up and helping the team defend, and Garcia should have put more distance on the ball.

You see, that argument falls down when you consider that City shouldn't have had to defend because we should have had a free-kick for the clear foul on Dzeko and the defender that fouled him should have been yellow-carded for it.

If it is a genuine mistake then clearly I can accept it, but genuine mistakes are random and do tend to fall both ways. Not much is going our way, that's probably the most charitable way I can put it.

Would Dzeko playing on have made any difference? How often do you see him tackling on the edge of our area, set pieces apart?

The first mistake is still the referee's however you dress up Dzeko's actions.

Horrible display there ... but honestly, I think we've had plenty of games where we've been worse done by the refs. Take it as a compliment I guess ... just means we are the main contenders now.
