I get all of that (apart from the final line which is a bit inflammatory). But I actually think he's kept his nose pretty clean this season. He's young and thick and a bit of a twat, but I think there are signs that he's beginning to grow up a bit. I can't remember any recent diving, spitting or general filth. Just a shitload of effort in carrying a team which is beneath his own ability.

He deserves a chance to put right the cuntery of his past. If he is trying, which he seems to be, then those of us who criticised him should also praise him if he sorts it out. Or at least not criticise him for past transgressions.
