Well what I saw John was a player who steadily improved every season at Arsenal, culminating in what looked like him becoming the complete player. This was reflected in his price tag, which neither us or united (and God knows who else) thought to be inflated.

Exactly, how many great games has he had for us? I recall 2, his debut and the Chelsea home game last year.

I think both the rags and ourselves will win today. To think they will lose or draw at home to a managerless Reading is very optimistic.
We just need to make sure we bag the three points. We need to be tough today and have a lot of desire to win, otherwise Everton will just bully us.

Reading scored three and were ahead three times at theirs, plus there is the Le Fondre factor. Plus they'll be playing for Brian. Small chance of dropped points. Since we need them to drop points in half their games to even have a look in, let's hope they start this weekend.
We have a job to do and have looked very focused so time to break the hoodoo and give Moyes another nudge towards the door

Reading ignited the unexpected in their home fixture against the rags: the game where 7 goals were scored on 01/12/2012 (4:3) so I think the rags will be wary of their fearlessness and play a defensive game - a sign that this may be a tight one, hopefully at least a draw (interim manager or not).
With us, I have a feeling that the lads'll be in overdrive and fight tooth & nail not to let the toffees get the better of us, knowing what's at stake.

As always doug, it depends what team turns up , if Reading defend like they did at our place , i don't think so.

However , this looks like a classic case of Diving needed for united. So any dropped points will be a definite bonus.
