Thanks. I set the publication date to 6th May in case there were unforeseen delays. I hope to have them posted out before then, so I'll keep everyone updated.

Thanks Peter. I'll also be emailing exclusive extracts from the book to anyone who pre-orders it. All the extracts will contain newly-uncovered information about our history.

For the next three weeks I'll be selling it at the discounted price for £7.45 (full price £8.85) plus £2.50 P&P. The publication date is 6th May 2013, though I'm hoping to have them sent out before then. Unfortunately it's not feasible to offer overseas postage initially, but anyone living abroad will be able to buy the paperback from 6th May.

If anyone wants to read a sample section of the book just follow the Amazon link at Manchester Football History and click on the Look Inside feature.

Thank you Andrew. I have just logged on there and bought it. I am looking forward to this read!

Andrew, Gary. Andrew, I'm sure you know Gary. Do you collaborate, do you share notes, are you arch enemies that keep info from each other, do you go out to dinner and if so what do you order?

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. Would you buy a paperback version online rather than at a bookshop?

I've just posted a story explaining why 1884, not 1880, is City's correct starting point.

The book will be posted out on the publication date of 6th May. There's a chance they'll be sent out before that, so I'll let you know when there's any further news.

Excellent. The paperback won't be going on general sale until early June. I'll be ordering a large print-run this week, which will contain minor alterations. So by next month the copy you purchased will have become a "limited first edition", for what it's worth.
