So it'll finish at 7 at the earliest, without extra time or penalties. Then there's the medals, so even most of the losing fans will want to stay. So 7:15 earliest. You've then got to get to one of the stations (15 mins) and across to Euston.

That's going to be tight, without even taking into account the wait for a train to turn up that you can get onto. If Wigan were to win, they couldn't make the train and celebrate after the cup is given out. If it went to extra time, they couldn't even wait for the cup. If we win we'd be ok as long as it wasn't in extra time.

So well done the FA. Putting fans first as usual.

Aparently the clubs can request more trains be put on.
They better had do.

Hope so, it's ok for me as I'm a southern fairy but all you northern hard nuts will have to be clock watching.

The crew are booked on the 9pm back if it goes to ET and Pens were fooked.

The logical step would be to put a train on at 9.30,10,10.30,11,11.30,midnight,i cant stay over as it's my boy's christening the next day and mans got stuff to do.

So a tweet from Virgin Trains earlier saying they are looking at additional trains. However, if your ticket is only for the 9pm, it won't be transferable.

The way i see it is, they love to hate us.Which makes it a double negative, which means they love us really. If that makes any fucking sense.I think all City fans will know what i mean.

By all accounts the Scum V Joke game was woeful.Whilst our game was epic. That will do me, we will do our talking on the pitch,if neutrals are switching over to watch us then you know we are heading in the right direction.

Looks like i will be going to Wigan to pick up a couple of Cup Final tickets when their extra 10,000 go on open sale. Will need a duffel coat, wellingtons and meat and potato pie to pull it off at the ticket office.

when i'm not over watching city. i usually frequent a pub in Zūrich. Recently though i've been watching from home. Simply too much work.

However, i have noticed that when multiple games are being shown Typically whilst the nobhead united fans sheepishly clap every free kick award, i have noticed more and more neutral fans watching city. Not City fans , but fans of the game, the numbers are beginning to outweigh those nerds watching the filth.

We play some great football, it really is a shame we couldn't convert some of those draws and unexpected losses to wins this season . Still, we have arrived and the future looks bright. Now where's my Spandex jacket ??

2.15 a.m. (see Slim's post somewhere). You and Lee are going to miss the first half if you're not careful.

I am working the following day, which is nice.

Why not? He did. ;-)

A nice by-product of emigration, not having to listen to clive fucking tyldesley.

here he is boys & girls - "Crimson Clive"
Brief highlights of the completely neutral ITV commentary on the semi by Fergie's wine waiter (match footage removed by order of Youtube)
Notice the fulsome praise heaped upon Nasri after he scored the opener and compare that with the subdued response to the Chelski goal. Notice how he thinks our cynical Uruguayan full back has an innocent face, how Costel is a Romanian liability, how Yaya's size in unfair on the rest of the league, how Gazbaz should a American football block backer, how Mancini despises the team etc etc etc.
You might also want to count the nanoseconds before United are mentioned in every significant incident.

Meanwhile on SSN we had golf, golf and golf, motor racing and a bit of hare coursing too I expect. Oh, and there was an FA cup semi-final too.

If it ain't on SKY it doesn't happen - I expect the final to get the same treatment. Different if Scum are involved of course, but it's been a long time :-)

Just to add to this thread, did anyone else buy a programme on sunday?

The Chelsea side of it had a 3 page article, with pics, of their 1994 final against ..... United, which they lost 4-0. Why is this in there, other than to take an opportunity to big up United? Chelsea have won the Cup umpteen times, especially in the past 15 years.

City fans wouldnt like seeing it and I doubt Chelsea fans would take any enjoyment on reflection of a Cup final defeat. There is absolutely zero reason for that piece to be in that programme, but of course it is.

At full time of their game they were turning around to give us a rendition of U-N-I etc etc. when we fucked them over by putting Aguero masks on the back of our heads and giving them the Poznan.

Another brilliantly executed move by the Brisbane OSC.

Is it still coffee and orange juice at that time or have they sorted the licence out. Not good watching a derby without some Tooheys.
