I think Cavani can head the ball better.

We fail with every corner to beat the 1st man mate, Put Sky 2 on mate he is a must sign.

I was saying that Cavani heads the ball better than Aguero.

And yes, I agree he(Lewa) is a must sign.

I'd be just as happy with Cavani as I would Lewandowski

We must do everything to block it then. He will defo come cheaper than Cavani if we offer them Dzeko in exchange. Win Win for us.

Do you think they will let him go with already losing Gotze and clubs sniffing around Reus?

I think he is a very good player but the price quoted £60 000 000 is fucking ridiculous.

I would much rather spend £60 000 000 elsewhere maybe on 2 A Class attacking midfielders. We depend on Silva to heavily.

Maybe also buy a quality Left Back.

I just don’t think Cavanni alone will solve all our problems. Would rather stick with Tevez Aguero and Dzeko and spend all that the money where we really need to in the middle of the side.

What about Hamsik ?

Our strikers have wasted a lot of chances this season. I read a stat somewhere that Silva has created the 2nd highest number of goalscoring chances in the Premier League this season yet he only has 11 assists (5th highest in the league). If Cavani can score the goals that will win us the Premier League and give us a decent crack at the Chumps League then the figure quoted will be worth it. Dzeko's days are numbered and we should try very hard to sell him this summer - he simply does not suit our style of play and I have doubts about his attitude. Lewandowski would be a cheaper alternative to Cavani as he only has 1 year remaining on his contract but I read an article yesterday that said Dortmund would rather let him go for free than be forced into selling him this summer.

We also need to inject some pace into the side and Reus would fit the bill nicely

I agree as regards Dzeko, simply does not suite our style. We are never going to play with natural wingers. We get what we paid it will be good.

I still would not mind giving it a shot with Tevez Aguero as first choice front 2 ,we could do with a young Ali Bernabia type player to sit behind them.

100% he is 1 yr left and stated he will move on, Bayern, Rags are ahead of the game, if the scum get him we might be goingt hrough managers like Chelsea, players like him and Bale can make us or break us IMHO, If the scum get both. Harder for everyone.

I tell you what mate, we make that swap and after six months Dzeko will have some 10-15 goals for Dortmund while Lewandovski has become a boo boy at Eastlands. It's a no for me

Exactly. I dont think lewandowski is any better a player than dzeko, both have different styles and bring different things to the table, but I dont think lewandowksi is worth all the hype, nor do I think he will automatically thrive in the premier league where he will have far less time on the ball. He was one of dortmunds worst players against us, and non exostent against united the year before suggesting he is far from a certainty to pick up the pace of the english game.

The shout above about keeping our strikers and bringing in someone like hamsik is the best post on this thread imo

Dezeko is as good as Lewandowski, you need to tell Dortmund that, coz if you can sell that pup you will be on 20% of the deal mate. Soriano will be hand delivering the cash to you.

Well who was more successful forward in the bundesliga? Who has one of (if not the) highest goals per mi ute ratio in the premier league

No need for selling them any bullshit, they know what dzeko can do with the right service

Yep agreed he can do it, he must be choosing to be a complete waste of space for us then, some of his touches on Sunday will have BVD on the next plane, Lewandowski has a 1st touch Sadly Edin has lost his and will be best suited to a move away.

This is totally true , last night he had time to get ball and turn araund almost all the time witch will never hapen here in England no where he get that kind of % of ball going to him no he can count on wingers so please buy something light and fast if we play like we play now.He had one of those night last night when all is going for u and he did not run much or even be close to be best in Borussia . Edin look like that same in Wolfsburg but it s just not for City how City play now.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

He has a much better first touch than Dzeko for starters which already makes him a better centre forward and is quicker

Maybe i saw him play horrible have awful touch and not do a thing in whole game .That is given with those kind of players.I m not saying hes not better then Edin but that is not so big difrence , he needs what Edin needs to play and score .City do not play like that and that is my opinion give us Cavani and we will do better.

lewandowski had everything go his way last night, just like dzeko had everything go his way against spuds last year. would rather have cavani than either one (alhtough i do think lewandowski would be an upgrade on dzeko).
