How long have we been thinking/ hoping/ praying that!! I'd say whilst I really want guidetti to turn out to be mustard for us, it is a massive gamble to go into a season relying on an unproven guy who has not kicked a ball for the first team in over a year and who has been injured for most of that. Had he played some minutes as a sub in the end of season / post season dead rubber games then maybe, but a loan at Newcastle or similar would be best for us.

Assuming bent eke is too expensive then I'd go for bent if he's super cheap.

That's an intriguing call Peter because Suarez is busily burning his bridges at Liverpool and it may transpire that Madrid don't sign him. The obvious issues are that our club is unlikely to want to employ the little piranha for reputational reasons and it would need to be a last gasp end of window action. So it's extremely doubtful but the notion of Suarez playing alongside Agruero does tickle my spuds.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

As others have mentioned Benetke would be a good shout but he can hardly be seen as coming in the cheap bracket. He is a very physical player something we don't really have.Dzeko is big but not exactly got the kind of physical presence that Benetke would provide.Lukaku is of a similar mould but Im sure Mourinho has plans for him this coming season.

Yes, but we'd have two Yaya's...we'll have to adjust the song.

And the fact that Mancini was abit of a cunt. So you really think Mancini would play John even if he was fit.

We'll never know now, will we? It was Mancini that personally intervened to stop him signing for Twente.

Leave it out with the cunt comments mate, the man brought us our first trophy in 34 years. No need to be Chelsea-like.

He couldn't play for us in dead rubbers because he picked up a knee injury playing for the EDS towards the end of the season which was a shame because he was yet again proving he knows how to score goals.

Not that big a gamble if he is fourth choice striker.

If he is given his chance it will show the rest of the lads in the academy that they're not pissing against the wind too, besides it's the holistic thing to do.

That's an intriguing call Peter because Suarez is busily burning his bridges at Liverpool and it may transpire that Madrid don't sign him. That could leave him in the awkward position of having been replaced at Liverpool but not having made a transfer - if that happens then the whole 'I want to get away from the English media' thing might melt away as reality sets in and his market value diminishes for a period. They might be thick but the scousers will grasp that fact and the eventual understanding that they have his salary alongside his replacements. . . they could've coped when John Moores was pouring his pools millions into the club but not in this modern day when they have to earn their keep.
The obvious issues are that our club is unlikely to want to employ the little piranha for reputational reasons and it would need to be a last gasp end of window action. So it's extremely doubtful but the notion of Suarez playing alongside Agruero does tickle my spuds.

I think finally he understood that he can"t win trophies there and he will try to bail. He wants Madrid, but i think Madrid will bring only Cavani, well if Perez won"t have another "football manager" transfer window and buy everyone.

Suarez will be in some awkward situation and i think City will have a go. With Tevez and Sergio, the fucker can be a god asset.

I don"t think we can have a cheap option and we won"t have that. Suarez looks the most likely. There are Higuain and Gomez and even that fucker Lewandowski.

If Real Madrid don't mind that Suarez is a shitstain on the nylon underpants of humanity, then it would make much more sense for them to sign him & spend the rest of the Cavani money on Isco.

Iturbe is a player we could look at as well. Only 20 years old, can play as a forward and a winger and is Argentinian and we already have Aguero and Zabaleta.

Not a cheap option, but we have been linked with the Hulk before and we could go for him. Not a bad replacement if Tevez goes.

Hulk is garbage. Diving, cheating soft bastard with average ability. I have no idea what people see in him. You tube has some great goals but they also do for Santa Cruz and Samaras.
