As I am in a bar in Cyprus I do not feel inclined to do that - it will be from an email address starting cgeorge....

thanks

I have just checked and we have received the donation, thank you very much.

How much total raised so far?

It costs about £350-£400 per year to keep the site (and add-ons) going.

This is approximately the amount we have raised since yesterday (which is bloody amazing) so we have enough now for another 12 months.

Obviously if we could keep the donations coming in we can stop worrying about paying the bills and put the begging bowl away for a few years!

Thanks again to everybody who has helped so far.

Give us a clue, can I pay by Debit without having a Pay Pal account, just by entering my personal/card details?

Cheers buddy. These new-fangled gadgets are a bit new for me, I've only had a debit card for about 8 months and have only just recently bought my first things off E-Bay/Amazon. One day I'll get a credit card, god help me!

If yer buying stuff off the 'tinters then get a credit card mate, set it to pay off each month by direct debit. If owt dodgy happens to your card details over the web with a CC its not your money and the CC company have to sort it out, plus you get protection on items worth £100 or more.

Mmmm, interesting. I keep getting offered them but don't like to use credit. Maybe a thought for the future.

Cheers.

As I'm on JSA and in between jobs I thought it'd be funny to contribute from my weekly Government contribution and not my redundancy wedge.

So, HMG, officially bailing out MCF.net since 2013, that should fuck off the Tory/Whig axis :-)

I've chipped in. Not a massive ammount but hopefully it's a worthwhile contribution to the site.
