What he gives us is variety, too often last season we were reliant on a misfiring Silva or for YaYa to wake up during a march. It was funny...when I saw Sergio in the starting line-up I wasn't quite sure why Negredo hadn't started after he'd featured so much in pre-season but having Sergio drift left and combine with Silva there made us a lot less unbalanced than in the last game Navas started where there was literally nothing on the left in the final third. It worked really well and caused them lots of problems.

I was just delighted not to see Pelli try to stick Silva or Nasri wide left as that patently does not work at all.

Unlike Balotelli being stuck wide, Sergio doesn't actually look like his game suffers at all and is bloody dangerous when he comes across the line from there.

When you have Dzeko looking like a new signing...Negredo looking like he will fit into the PL very well....and then the thought of what Navas will do when he really hits his stride...oh...and JoJo.....well, pretty scary for the rest IMO
