For what it's worth...even though he's been not on his best form and has been guilty of overelaborting things...Silva has played some delicious high balls into the box over these last few games. Not really seen this from him too much in past seasons probably as it was a waste of time as there was going to be no-one on the end of it but now we have Negronkey it's a new string to our bow.
Lots of work in progress and some worrying elements to NewCity v.3 but there are also some real new positives - let that not get lost amongst the angst
The kind of passes Silva has played for Negredo are more down to Negredo himself imo; he makes/times the runs. Our strikeforce imo have very little striker's instinct. Negredo has it.
Milner etc will find him with similar passes imo because he makes it easy.
