Just to get this thread back on track this isn't a rant about people not from Manchester supporting City. I was born in Altrincham so heaven knows I should support them or the other team from the borough of Trafford but my Pop was born in Fallowfield so I'm a blue.

This thread was supposed to be about celebs getting all uppity and twuntish after seeing Georgie drunkard's "magic" before they were even born plus those knob bulbs who we hate anyway (Boycott being one) who make us hate them even more because, naturally, they're inclined to follow the orcs.

I refer to my 1st comment that all these mentioned on here are plastics and not real fans. But i know for sure The Hoff is a true blue i seen him at the Stoke game last season arriving on the bandwagon. What a legend!

You sound an angry man today mate. I know your views and you're right with the historic stuff.

Historically, City used to be called St. Marks and then Ardwick AFC.

Historically, we have won 3 top flight championships and 5 FA Cup.

Historically, the managers of those winning sides were Wild, Mercer and Mancini.

Also, why do you need to know where I was born, do I have to prove myself to you? This is the internet and I could be anywhere from Rhodesia to Ceylon; I could be anybody.

Can we define 'a plastic'? Is it somebody who is born outside of the Borough of Trafford or somebody who was born outside of the County of Greater Manchester? Is it somebody from Lancahsire/Cheshire or is it somebody further afield?

Just in the interests of debate.

Perhaps I could summarise. If you're a blue I don't care where you're from you are my brother. If you're a red you are a bastard. End of. Might sound hypocritical but that's how it is.

No a plastic is someone who has little or no knowledge of football and never goes to games. Where your from isnt an issue. I was just interested to know if your from the city. or like my nobhead neighbour who told me and my wife he was from manchester, and when the wife stated she was a manc from collyhurst he went silent. Reason for that was because he was actually from stockport, silly cunt he is.

All from Gorton/Longsight/Beswick, then Droylsden, now Ashton. Fuck, even my heritage has the Beswick name in it.

It doesn't matter though, we're all part of the Big Blue family.

No trying to find me now ;-)

Its the plastic ones who jumped on the glory train that really annoy, both for Utd and us I suppose. They are also often the biggest gobshites.

Case in point, a bloke I went to school with called Simon Stephens - hes now a play wright by trade and apparently quite talented; anyways, right through school and 6th form he was a big City fan, went to matches, the lot. I recently started following him on twitter and it seems he now professes to a big lifetime Man U fan - quite odd. I asked him how, from bring a big Blue from the years 1975 to 1988, he has suddenly become a Utd fan and suggested hes basically jumped on the glory train in the 90s? No answer as yet from the soft t**t but hes a classic case.

Somehow my brother turned into a United fan, I think it was because of his mates at the time. It didn't last long though when he found himself not going to games. My dad was cruel but only to be kind ;-)
