Nasri is on fire right now, it would make sense to use him behind Negredo, with Milner on the wing
So this is how it feels to be City,
This is what it means to stand tall,
This is how it feels when our club has no debt at all.

Sergio will be sorely missed but no need to panic, we have an abundance of talent at our disposal. I just hope/pray etc as others have that Djeko is not seen as the night in shining armour.

We can revert to a simple 5 man mid field with the beast up front. If we must playtwo up front, lets see our newest recruit -JoJo.

I think Pellers has sussed out Dzeko like the rest of us and he certainly won't be seen as the first choice replacement

The flaw in all this dismissing of Dzeko is what happens if Negredo gets injured 5 mins into the game next weekend ?

Usually over Christmas, this kind of stuff happens. Imo, because of Aguero's injury, we need to make sure Dzeko gets decent game time; we may find we need him, for crucial games, in which case we want him happy & confident.

If aguero is out long term, wonder if guidetti still gets his loan move? Kid needs playing time soon.

Hope he gets some game time against Leicester in the cup but might not yet be ready.I'm really looking forward to seeing him getting a few games under his belt he's a very good player.

Yeah I'm very hopeful for Jovetic. I was quite excited about us signing him and hes not had a chance to do anything yet, though fortunately it hasn't really mattered.

I don't think Dzeko is the obvious replacement for Aguero and I think Pelligrini has him somewhat figured out already, although I'm sure he'll still get some game time. I think everyone else is spot on though with Navas/Nasri being called in instead.

Me too. I think he'll become a key player for us by the end of the season, if he shakes off his injury jinx.

Remember in the season we won the title when Aguero got injured and Tevez was golfing? Unfortunately this time, we don't have a lead. Jovetic and Giudetti better be better replacements than Balotelli and Dzeko were

Now is his chance, but we might see more of dzeko.

Why all these calf injuries?

Players like Sergio who ducks and weaves at pace will always pick up calf injuries it is also common in strikers as they move in shorts bursts of rapid speed.

Whats the latest on Gudetti, has he gone out on loan?

Really think we need a loan striker for cover. Jovetic is touch and go and if Negredo gets injured too we could be fucked.
