Translation please?
BlueinBosnia wrote:Yes, but the majority of the rest of the squad have family in the UK, or have settled there. With the current chaos with the UK's borders, it is unlikely Jovetic's family would be permitted visas to visit him over the Christmas period (Montenegrins don't need visas for Italy), and also every other league he has played in has had a Winter Break, allowing him to return home. Florence/Italy also has very good transport connections with Montenegro; Manchester/the UK less so...

At the moment, he's turning into a modern day Danny Mills

I could be and hopefully am very wrong but its fishy at best. I'd love to see him in 2nd half of season as he is a class act as proven at Fiorentina and International level, but i'm not sure for some reason

It is not a contradiction mate. There are 2 different issues going on.If a player fails a drug test for a banned substance and receives a substantial ban he can serve his ban under the anonymity off an on going injury,to keep his drug use out off the public arena. The part about this happening in the past is well documented. This has been common practice for a while,it saves the Club embarrassment, and it save the player being victimized and punished twice for the same thing. This is how the FA,PFA deal with this stuff in the modern age.Football players are human after all. I think That is what the OP was saying in his post.He was not saying Jovetic was a substance abuser.Twobob wrote:zabbadabbado wrote:. It is well documented that in the past there have been Premiership players that have failed drug tests and served lengthy bans and this information has remained out of the Public arena with the full support of the FA and the PFA.This has obviously been done by citing ongoing injuries.
better make a disclaimer,i am not saying this is the case with Jovetic, there is absolutely no evidence to support this scenario, and to best off my knowledge Jovetic is not a smack head, crack head or piss head or has ever been a smack head, crack head, piss head. Is a great player and will be a great addition one day .
First you say it's well documented and then you state it's kept out if the public arena which is contradictory. Any evidence of this actually happening in other cases?
Have retained your disclaimer mate so as not to mis-represent you.
Just have to say something else on this fucking moronic thread thread though.
The Worst thing happening here with Jovetic is that he's picked up several inter-related injuries - IF there's a non-physical boundary (BIG IF) then that would be the phycological hurdle of pushing his fitness levels again with the fear of further injury. Nothing more.

Yes, but that was based on him being seen out on the piss whereas this current nonsense is just childish dickheads trying to fuel discontent for no other reason than to tarnish the reputation of our management and our player.
To be fair,i think it is the being deliberately vague is that is causing our fans to speculate.Hutch's Shoulder wrote:There is absolutely no evidence of anything presented in this thread, except a few comments from the Manager this week which I think were deliberately intended to be vague.

The reality is none of us has any idea what is wrong with him.twosips wrote:zabbadabbado wrote:To be fair,i think it is the being deliberately vague is that is causing our fans to speculate.
Surely if he was a druggie and this was all a cover up they would fabricate an actual long term injury as opposed to naming him in a match day, saying he's fit and then have him drop out ill. Its totally illogical when they could just say he'll be out for three months or whatever thus ending constant speculation.
