I changed my seat via the cup scheme and I am now sat in ROW A - my own fault for not sorting it sooner....argh I hate level 1 ROW A

I might just go and stand with everyone else in 111....although being in row A means I gut to pull a Gurning face when its a throw in near me ;-)

Don't do it 2B, the geordies might take it as a tribute act!
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

FYI, nothing official as yet but the Manchester Evening news is reporting that both Marcos Lopes and Emyr Huws are in the squad for tonight's game.

It would look superb just behind zabba when he does a throw in - an angry birds temp tattoo on your left breast would be superb too, be just like the city crest!

Really hope we see Lopes from the start tonight. Great chance for the lad to get experience of playing against a physical side.

Think he will start from bench myself. The game still needs to be won and Blackburn aren't going to be pushovers. This is a reply after all. You can bet your life this is their biggest game this season, they are bringing 4000/5000 so the players are going to be up for it. Not renowned as a footballing outfit either so will not be afraid to put boot in especially to a young lad.

When the game looks safe that's when he come on. Far better to bring him on when winning and give him confidence than start him for him to be maybe overwhelmed by occasion and be subbed. It wont do his confidence any favours

I think sometimes you can be too cautious with younger players. No disrespect to the opposition but this is Blackburn at home, not Barcelona away. As long as we play a good team we can still accommodate him and win fairly comfortably imo.
I don't think he'll be overawed by the occasion, I think he'll be really excited by it or he should be at least.
If he doesn't get to play in games like this then when will he? If he plays well or even scores it will do his confidence the world of good.

I totally get where you're coming from with him getting experience and the fact we are at home to lower league opposition. My concern is who he will be playing with. When we rested some of our best players away at Newcastle and at Blackburn we looked pedestrian. Now, the lad might step up and be brilliant or he could get lumps kicked out of him. I want to see more lads coming through but I also want us to win. Playing youth players from the start for me is a bit too much of a risk. I'd actually prefer him to start v Cardiff as he'll be with the likes of Yaya and Silva to look out for him
