Alright gents, can anyone recommend a good place to park? Ideally a mix of not being stuck in traffic, not being miles away from the ground and not being mega expensive.

Apologies in advance for the boring question.

Assuming you are coming down the M40? Park up outside Hillingdon tube station, free road parking two minutes from the station & then it is about 20 minutes on the tube on the same line to Wembley park station. On a good day without footie traffic it would be the same time from there in a car. Coming back out, you'll have to fight to get into the station but once in in the station you'll be going a different direction to 95% of the other trying get back in to Central London.

Hillingdon is only about five minutes drive past the M25 junction (coming down the M40 from Manc)

It's what I always do when going to watch us at Wembley if I am driving, go any further (on what has now become the A40) will be just a massive queue up to Hanger lane and likewise on the north circular. Likewise if you come down M1/A1M, you will queue to get off and be caught on the north circular assuming you have no local knowledge these are the two routes signs and sat nav will take you.

This is a good shout, we stayed in Watford last year for the FA cup and its straight into Wembley Central on the overground - easy peasy to drive to too.

I'm third tier for the first time for this one - been lower tier and behind the goal last couple of times. What's the view / atmosphere up there like anyone?

I was in the the third tier against Stoke, on the second row from the top. The overview is great but it's really high up, so you do miss some details and your perspective gets a little bit messed up. It's hard to tell how high a high ball is, for instance. I guess it's comparable to watching the telly when they use that horrible camera view at White Hart Lane.

The atmosphere was great before the game and from we scored our goal until the end. In between it seemed to be a lot of collective nail-biting. But I think that was the same all over the stadium.

Been third tier for the semi vs rags and final of the FA cup against Stoke and its as Noolie says, was a good atmosphere (fantastic vs the rags as we weren't far from the unwashed). Its one if those where you had a mix of people.

Vs Wigan we had to get the expensive seats just past the half way line on the 1st tier - now that was a great view but atmosphere was lacking even from the start. Sadly nothing in that game helped to boost it!

Was behind the goal vs rags and atmosphere was great. Was on 3rd tier vs wigan and it was utter shite in comparison. Probably because of who we were playing and how we were playing rather than the location of the seat tbh.

Thanks chaps. If needs be I'll create my own atmosphere, and be thankful for how cheap the tickets were compared to previous outings.

I am on the national express arriving at Wembley at 12:15. Not sure whether to bother with the green man this time, it takes 30 mins to get served. Might just linger around and have a few tins

The blue room was good last season near the roundabout.
