Divine intervention. Theres no way Yaya scored that goal. His shot seemed to warrant less power and it was going over... gods a blue. So is Jesus.

I recon Jovetic may turn out to be Wasim Akram next season, if he gets fit.

Good call. But if we're talking Manchester sporting heroes, I also see them as Ivan Mauger and Soren Sjosten, with, of course, Vincent as Cyril Maidment, especially when he slides neatly into a tackle.

My mate has competed against Ivan Mauger & spent time with him too, it's a fact that he actually trained with City back in the day. Very very fit geezer.

And there was one bloke amongst City players who he found to be on another level to anything else he had encountered.

Btw, seeing as we've lost the plot, who would be our Farokh Engineer ? (Deffo not Pellegrini)

A Swedish skier was asked about what he thought that people said he was always so lucky. His reply went something like "I don't know what luck is, all I know is that the more I practice the more luck people seem to think I have."
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."
