Pretty much can close this thread now, that is about as concise an answer one can get.
when was the last time you went to a game.

First off, why is that relevant? Second, the last time I was in the UK.

How many more threads you going to start this week pissing and moaning?

I spoke to les chapman last month, he told me of what a horrible person Mancini was, nutcase he called him, he lost the dressing room, he never stepped foot in the dressing at wembely at h/t vs Wigan and if he did there were at least 4/5 players ready to hand in a transfer request, he never even did a team speach for the final vs stoke, it was Patrick veria who did it, he told me stuff that you prob would believe now that he's gone

True or not, I would question the wisdom of 'revealing' all this on here. If you were in fact told all of the above, I'd imagine it was told to you in confidence.

I thought it was basically common knowledge, all came out as soon as he was sacked. Cant believe this question is still being asked!

Even though he's the kitman, I doubt Les Chapman would appreciate being named on here as someone who offers the club's dirty laundry to interested parties.

Feedthegreek I think your post is perfectly acceptable as a point for discussion. You do mention 'THOUGHT OUT REPLIES PLEASE". The acrimony on this site belittles us all. I have been following CIty since Charlton played for us... (well nearly) and City supporters have always tried to see each other's point of view. Some of the snide and puerile comments on this thread make me very cross.

BlueinBosnia wrote: To keep me interested. As I've said before, it may be my age, but Mancini is the only manager that has turned me off watching us. Not even Pearce did that. Maybe I was used to mediocrity when Pearce was in charge, but crikey, I think I'd be putting my money into supporting a Bosnian third-tier team if Mancio was still in charge now, and watching us on the telly 'when it was convenient'. At least we lost 3-2 in a 'really could do with a win' game, than drew 0-0 in an 'absolutely must win' game.

Your age may be playing tricks on you. Or, more likely, you're just spouting bollox for the hell of it.

We scored a shed load of goals on our way to winning two major trophies. At one stage we were as free-scoring as earlier this season. It was little short of a miracle to come from 8 points behind to win the title. Then there was the sick swan and other notable events.

Granted his last season was less glorious. However, if you think the above was a crock of boring shit, there's something wrong with you.

I'm guessing BiB is referring to his last season which as well as being mind numbingly dull, it was also confusing frustrating and downright daft at some points - I also got bored in the last season

Not read any other responses to this thread, just the question. Answer is that players hated him.

I liked Mancini, probably still do. Then again, I like Pellers, Hughes, Sven etc so not really a person to rely on, I suppose.

I'm still waiting for the substantiated reports that were supposed to flood the media.

Yep, I don't think anybody can deny that Mancini had some enemies in the dressing room, that comes with the territory, but to assume that everybody did, even though a few of the players came out to the contrary, states to me that somebody has an axe to grind.

He was our manager, he won things, didn't fall into our future plans, and moved on. Nothing wrong with that, it happens all the time.

@ dikdok

Be as cross as you like - and you are entirely entitled to your view - clearly you are a fair minded individual that looks to see the good in people.

My personal view - based on the timing and the fact that no comment of any substance was made in the OP - was that the OP was just a cheap shot by a stupid individual totally inconsiderate of the views/feelings of the majority of CITY fans - some at least as long-standing as you.

Given that timing I would suggest that the OP's need to make a cheap shot was both attention-seeking and demonstrative of a person that was not thinking what true CITY fans would be thinking about on Sunday evening - more someone obsessed with their own agenda.

I was a fan of Mancinis but I am a lifelong fan of CITY - and that comes first on the evening after such a result.

I respect your fair-mindedness - but not that idiot's self-serving pettiness.
